"Candidate status, date for talks in 2011"

PM Mirko Cvetković says it is a realistic possibility that Serbia will be granted candidate status for EU membership by the end of the year, Beta reports.

cant serbia see that they (EU) are just talking year after year they been saying about the status for 7 years already and serbia keep falling for it and the EU is broke and all countries in it are broke and the people are going under so i dont know why serbia is so gung ho about this EU when they should be getting closer to the superpowers and economy powers of the bric

stick with them like everyone else is doing and serbia will grow and i dont know why the serbian people want to be with the EU if the serbian people think they have problems now with money just wait for the EURO you will all be living in the streets and striking and running around looking for jobs just like in greece,spain,portugal,irelsnd and the rest cant you see that its a mistake to join the EU are what?
