No we don't stand by our coptic brothers, because otherwise we would have done something about it in all the centuries they have suffered and still suffering.
As the oriental coptic church has rejected the findings of the Council of Chalcedon, it was separated from the current Catholic and Orthodox Churches since 451 AD. Since then the so called Greek Orthodox Church of Alexandria is playing the role of "orthodox brother" of the region.
Even though I am a (Romanian) Orthodox and thus I am supposed to share the Chalcedonian view of my church, I personally agree with the copts who reject Chalcedon.

Hey Adrian , google "coptic catholics"
Often I have seen representatives of the "Coptic Catholic" Church at official and important ceremonies. They dont represent all Coptics , but the Coptic Catholics actually are in communion with Rome.

Aside from the theology, all Orthodox nations are brothers and sisters in Christ and we should work to eliminate our differences. The entire secular world along with specific elements within it such as Freemasonry and radical Islam want to destroy the Church.
