Serbia doesn't need anything. Last time I checked, sj confirmed that Serbia can feed all of Europe.

Very true and glad to see you finally agree. Or do you suggest that Serbia adopt the Kosovo or Albanian’s economic model? A goats and donkey’s lead economic recovery.
Your ally the great United States of Windbags is going through tough times and your talking about Serbia. Or perhaps you might enlighten people on this forum the great contribution made by Albania or Albanian’s in Kosovo to the world economy?
Johnny, if the information coming out now about the US is correct you’ll wish it was Serbia.

Reduce the corporate tax rates, reduce taxes for foreign investment, reduce taxes in general and see how the economy will recover. Create new investment opportunities everyone, including turning old sugar mills into cultural or art centres. Create programs for small and medium sizes business' to expand. Increase trade missions to all friendly countries...etc.etc.

"Serbia needs more investments, production plants and jobs, exports boost and cuts to budget expenditures and all other expenditures incurred by the state. "
Even if they invested today, it would take at least 2-3 years to see any fruits. Of course, no one is really investing today and everyone wants to export

Serbia has an attractive corporate tax rate already, but certainly other taxes and red tape need to be reduced. Serbia has the people and the resources to be a production hub, but until these things are fixed, investors will look elsewhere. Serbia's business environment is as follows:
It is difficult to find goods here because there are no producers, it is hard to import because of high customs/taxes/red tape, you cant produce them yourself because of red tape/taxes

Serbia cant have an economic model since it´s western imposed quisling regime has accepted to be back-tied and enslaved under IMF(USA) dictats. Hence Serbia is not a sovereign country.
Any future democratic government of serb´s own choosing can reverse this destructive anti-serbian path to poverty and mass unemployment by simply ignore their politics and pay back the loan as quick as possible, preferably by another loan from a friendly partner (BRIC) on other terms and conditions.

Before any investors see Serbia as a hub for production the country needs to heavily invest in its infrastructure, reduce the corporate tax to an attractive level and clear up the unclear situation on land ownership as well as reduce red tape . Without these implementations investors will stay away. On the other hand Serbia has enough people who need jobs and when offered sustainable employment they will surely prove to be an effective work force. Also Serbia has an excellent strategic location from which to serve surrounding countries, thus potentially boosting exports.
In my opinion Serbia can overcome the initial challenges if the political will is there. This being the most difficult challenge of them all.
