The West keeps worrying about N Korea and Iran but Pakistan is serious bad news waiting to happen.Pakistan is a vast kleptocracy riven by the violence. Its collapse will likely shock the world and history with its brutality.

The worst case scenarios are truly terrifying, ranging from regional nuclear war to Al Quaida getting nuclear warheads from a failed and radicalized Islamic state.

All this is true but so far the US did more than its share fighting radicalism in the world. Instead of recognition and gratitude we earned from most Europeans only criticism and insults. They are closer to Pakistan and those wild places. Soon they will regret for having criticized us at all.

Indeed.The US is misunderstood by all us rotten Europeans.You forgot to mention that most of the US aid goes into arms against India, the generals pockets, and funding the Taliban, leaving little for schools, infrastructure, and health care.

The truth is Pakistan and the US are brother terrorists in arms. If Wikileaks gets round to disclosing the events of 9/11 the world at large will learn how the head of Pakistan's Intelligence Services ISI wired money to Mohammad Atta, the alleged lead hijacker of 9/11. He was in Washington that morning meeting with George Tenet, head of the CIA, and was quietly retired when this information came out.The 9/11 Commission acknowledged all this but goes on to say that the funding of 9/11 is of little importance. Just imagine what would have happened if Saddam had funded Atta. By the way, the head of the ISI may be appointed only with the approval of the US.

The US is mired in a new Vietnam and Joe is going around blaming everyone else for this disaster. The US will eventually have to leave Afghanistan, tail between legs, but not before a lot more innocent lives are lost in Pakistan and Afganistan.

Come on good old Joe, don't make us cry. One of the warning that was raised before the Iraki war was that it will give fuel to all sort of islamist radicals and the breakup of Irak will create 100's of bin laden.
Irrespective of this the united state of arrogance had to find lies to put his nose into Irak and creat a mess.
We don't give a damn about your war appetites, what we care is that this war monger attitude has only made the world much much unsafer. And what, we should now clean the mess that the US created, no but thanks.
Like Leonidas truly said we have not seen all, and the 9/11 story is far from being finished. One will still have to explain to us how these buildings collapsed in a matter of seconds, why some "interesting" substance was found in the ashes, why, why, why, there are still too many why hanging in the air !!
