Del Ponte: Two options for investigation

Dear Serbs,
Del Ponte is suddenly your new superstar? When she was chief prosecutor at the ICTY you were not her biggest fans. Let's face it: during her time at the ICTY she was a complete failure and if she would have had any evidence against the UCK, Thaci or whomever it would have been her obligation to act accordingly. Otherwise she has obstructed the course of justice and has to face a court herself.

Is Europe going to allow itself to be terrorised and intimidated into silence?

What's the difference between one terrorist and another, and why are we fighting one group while supporting another? Why do we condemn how the Taliban treat people and then let European mafias like this sell people, carve them up and trade them like objects? Or sell women and children for sex.

How can we send our young troops to fight for their country, when all they are doing is laying their lives on the line for the political and financial gain of just a few people? Not even in our own country.

Europe - get a grip! I hate to support Del Ponte, but she is right in what she is saying. It's going to take brave people like her (albeit too late in the day) and Dick Marty to perhaps help to bring about change.

Simple: Many Serbs think, in their nationalistic blindness, that the ICTY and Del Ponte are 'anti serbian' because they prosecuted Serbian war criminals. Hey, now after she came up with these organ harvesting story, which now has been further investigated by Marty, now she and Marty are suddenly part of an 'anti-independence network. Though these persons were only doing their job and were doing the same thing all the time: Trying to uncover the truth and getting war criminals to face justice.

There always it will be a Q for you " my lady" why you didn't investigate on time when you have all the power or maybe you didn't think you will make enough but more if putting things in your book because honestly its very hard to come to the quick cash every. A hard working human knows that...

Carla del Ponte chased Ratko Mladic for 10 years and then gave up. Isn't that interesting?

Olli- of course Del Ponte is not to be believed. Her own employees accuse her of destroying DNA evidence from this case. She's trying way too hard to cover her a$$ and the fact that for a decade she seems to have screwed up this thing big time. It is even harder to believe when you had NATO as the security personnel.

However the apathy of the Serb state is eye opening. Here you have Del Ponte basically stating that this should be done through a special mandate through the UNSC. Serbia continues to sit on her a$$ and do nothing. This should have been brought to the UNSCR by Serbia last week. Yet they don't do anything about it. Why?

I don't think any Albanian can go against her recommendation here. Clearly, if they are correct and this accusation is no more than a bad lie or Fairy tale, they have nothing to fear from a thorough investigation. If any part of it is correct, even if it's only that Thaci was involved in narcotics or other illegal activities, all Albanians will be able to sleep well knowing that criminal elements have been eliminated from Kosovo.

It was shocking to see how so many brainwashed people covered up the kosovo crimes and concentrated on alleged serbian atrocities only.The veil now is lifted for the world to see.

Ponte is very brave now to put true words of US/UK/KLA criminal operations against Serbs and actually against Europe albeit a bit late.However i do suspect that she was under intense pressure by US/UK to hide the true facts and instead concentrate on the pursuit of Mladic and karadzic.

The real evil started in Washington and London.They backed leaders such as the loathsome Hashim Thaçi, identified by the Council of Europe inquiry as "the mafia boss" of a network that began operating criminal rackets in the run-up to the 1999 Kosovo war and eversince.

I wished iam wrong but i have very low expectations of any impeding investigations.Western politics was shown to be an exercise in hypocrisy.But of course, war crimes are never committed by the US or its allies.

We have been saying all along that only Serbians know how to deal with albanian mafia.It seams they all agree on it now,and telling us they have no mojo is of very little comfort..

I see major problems ahead - such investigation is extremely inconvenient for way to many politicians. I assume, they will try what they can just to prevent certain things to surface.

I can even imagine Thaçi getting into some nasty car or plane accident - he obviously knows way to much.

Why not dude? If some iranian tribes show up in the balkans in the 4-th century and claim that they own the place, why not? Are you just an Iranian spawn or a "descendant" of Alexander the Great also?
