U.S. asked to extradite ex-Nazi to Serbia

The World Jewish Congress (WJC) requested from the U.S. to extradite Peter Egner, suspected of serving in a WW2 Nazi unit in occupied Belgrade, to Serbia.

yet the Jewish Congress are reluctant to mention Ariel Sharon's murderous spree in Southern Lebanon. Serbia should avoid falling into the trap of being U.S's puppet master. Croatia has already sold out to foreign powers, it looks like Serbia will also follow suit.

There shouldn't be any problem, since it was the US that originally identified the man and asked the Serbian government whether they wanted him. It took some time for Belgrade to figure out who he was and what he might have done, but now that they've done that, and there are provisions in place to extradite him, why would there be any delay from the US side?
