Ok fair enough. I think you are referring to a "more than autonomy and less than independence" type of deal. The problem still remains , no one , and I do mean NO ONE - Neither Serb , nor Abanian , nor any third party , actually knows what that means. Not one person has actually formulated or intellectualised the concept. I may be mistaken , but i cant see how a concept that is neither understood nor accepted , as the basis for a mutually acceptable deal.

Bottom line , with or without Thaci ,I honeslty cant see Albanians accepting Serbian rule/sovereignty/authority/legitimacy in any form. As far as both sides are concerned , the status quo is far more acceptable than anything the other side has to offer.
As Bolton has said - these talks wont go anywhere. The audience are in their seat , the cast is assembled and the show is about to commence - but just remeber ; the script has already been written. What you will see are the "stars" giving their fans what they want. Regretfullly , nothing more.

I told you all from the very begining that the status will be one of the issues negotiated in the upcoming dialogue. Kosovo has nno other route but to resolve its status with Belgrade and reach a mutual compromise. Its just impossible for them to move forward at al without kosovos status to be resolved.
