No, only for some Serbs who still see him as the innocent hero, the defender of Serbdom against the evil WEST. Hmm, just in case Thaci should perish in a car accident in the crazy traffic in Pristina, probably Albanians will build dozens of statues for their hero, the honorable and innocent fighter for freedom and great founder of Kosovo ;-)

''I mean is every non albanian a liar?''
There are only three individuals who do not represent any judical court or anything, Barabyr, Del Ponte, and Martin who is just a deputy of swiss parliamet... they surely are not ''every non albanian'', just three people...even Serbia refused to start an investigation on Thaci...

This is where it gets interesting. Can Marty produce creditable sufficient evidence to link Thaci to the organ trade? If not, Thaci is well in his right to sue Marty.

"well thank you both for your input, but with these mountains of evidence that was laid forth for the Milosevic trial it is extrememly difficult to believe that a verdict was not passed down rather quickly. Perhaps the evidence provided was questionable, or circumstantial, but it certainly wasn't enough for a timely conviction."

The defense also got to present its side, and Milosevic spent days giving political speeches. He certainly had no reason to hurry, this was going to be his last chance to speechify, and he took it. (Karadzic is doing the same, of course.)

As for OJ, by now, most Americans, of all races, have accepted that he was guilty, and that the jury decided wrongly. This happens. You have to hope, only infrequently.

Empty Argument, I guess that the chance that the snake will finish earlier in front of a court than Mr Marty, but for the sake of discussion, let's assume the contrary. So, again why you and alike are getting so nervous and hysterical ?? Like Glenn mentioned, nothing is 100% sure either way, so let the investigation makes his way or do you believe that justice can only go your way....

Status is definitely on the negotiating table. You see the EU cant afford to feed you guys – its run out of money; you should read yesterdays report “the Irish bail-out package will affect the ability to provide further support to eurozone members”.

What are 2 million starving Albanians going to do? Nothing that’s what! You people just don’t get it – the EU is finished; the US is finished so who or what is going to feed the 2 million Albanians? Let me tell you that they are not important at all and very expendable if it comes to that. Please stop this nonsense of the EU being heaven on earth – its DEAD. Ask the neighbouring countrie i.e Hungayr, Romania or Bulgaria. It time you woke up to this fact.

The Eu has been fighting with the US over this status quo in Kosovo and its inability to fund it indefinitely. The EU also wanted negotiations to try and some how re-integrate Kosovo into the Serbian economy so that your Albanians can look for work.

If Serbia did not recognise an independent Kosovo in the last 12 years it certain will not now considering the geopolitical changes happening in its favour. As far Kostunica is concerned, you are not very bright – its only politicians trying to sound different so that the population will vote for them.

Yes I know what is involved in an organ transplant. First you sterilise the area (this could take place in a barn if you like) then a surgeon removes the organ/organs and they place them in a special container. Using a helicopter within 2 hours they in the operating theatre. Its not rocket science to sterilise the area. What do you think happens on the battlefield where doctors have to perform surgery in open fields? Please I wouldn’t take my dog to Pristina Hospital let alone a human being. Your doctors are not recognised anywhere.

well thank you both for your input, but with these mountains of evidence that was laid forth for the Milosevic trial it is extrememly difficult to believe that a verdict was not passed down rather quickly. Perhaps the evidence provided was questionable, or circumstantial, but it certainly wasn't enough for a timely conviction. You can keep up with the belief that you hold near and dear to your hearts; I won't try to convince you otherwise, but if one considers the basic tennants of democratic law, Milosevic is innocent until PROVEN guilty. Thus the logical conclusion is that he was innocent. No matter how you may wish to spin it, or define it he was never found guilty, just accused.
Considering that, when you wish to call me a sypathizer, or someone with their head in the sand, I never suggested what my personal opinion about Milosevic is/was. I'm refering to the actual facts of the situation as it ended up.
Currently Thaci is accused of some 'evil-doing' and much like milo-sympathizers claiming omnipotence I read many hash-sympathizers saying the same thing. There is plenty of evidence to find Thaci guilty of some of the charges on that laundry list (much like was Milo's list), but will the prosecutor address the low hanging fruit first is up to them.
So unless you have a verdict stating Milosevic is guilty he is not, and unless you have a verdict that Thaci is guilty, he is not. The rest is speculative propaganda whose sole purpose is to beat one's nationalistic chest.
Unless you know what Thaci has been doing to the second for the past 10-20 years with 100% accuracy then you too are simply speculating and judging based upon your emotions and not a set of facts.
Watching this debate reminds me of the ignoracne demonstrated in USA's OJ Simpson trial. The nation was polarized along racial lines. A majority of people believed whatever they wanted to, generally following racial lines, about the case. And as we all remember he too as found not guilty of criminal charges.
A tiny bit of perspective and rational logic could go a long way for many people here.

I am all in favor of a full-fledged investigation. There is nothing to fear in uncovering truth, whether the truth be that these alleged acts did occur or that they did not occur. However, it also needs to be understood that as of today, Thaci is 100% innocent, until or unless someone can prove otherwise.

My primary reservation is that EULEX, like UNMIK before it, does not seem to work with any sense of urgency (or even work at all for that matter). If a full investigation were opened today and led by EULEX, we may not have any concrete results for years.

Of secondary concern is that whatever the investigation should uncover, most people in Kosovo and Serbia will continue to believe what they want to believe. No need to let any facts confuse us, after all...

From a more pragmatic view, I would think that it would be easier to focus on the events of the more recent years. Unless Thaci was miraculously reformed in 2000, there should be plenty of evidence if he is such a criminal. And there is ALWAYS someone who is willing to talk confidentially. Their testimony may not be admissible in court, but they could point investigators the right way.

This is only the beginning with change in Serbia’s favor picking up pace in 2011. Let me just say that if the Albanians do not take up the package that is on offer at the negotiating table then they will get nothing at all – they only have a two year window of opportunity.
(sj, 21 December 2010 12:00)

The so called dialoug with Serbia will not touch the status of Kosovo. Albanians diden't declare independence to negotiate with Serbia about it or else they woulden't declare it. And Serbia is not a force or in a position to offer Kosovo or K.albanians somthing. Serbia has no force to change the independence of Kosovo, neither militarly or political. And reamember even the serb polticans are not saying that dialoug with Prishtina will in some how change the independence of Kosovo. They know that nobody can change it because the 2 million people living in Kosovo and their representatives will not accept such a change.

This game is just a procces wich in the end will result in Serbia/Boris Tadic recognizing Kosovo for the sake of good neighbourly relations and Eu membership. Serb leaders know that Kosovo is out of reach as long as albanians live there and it's time to keep what is possible to keep and that is good relations with Kosovo because if they lose that they lose EU and will lack behind all other countrys when it comes to social and economical prosperity. Boris Tadic knowes this and that is why he is working with EU and US in this procces to fool the Serbian people and recognize Kosovo. Some serbs already suspect this and they have right. Just ask Kostunica...

As for Marty he has no evidence and should be put before court by Mr.Thaci for talking garbage. Do people in Serbia knowes what is needed to make and organ transplant? It cannot be done just by and doctor because it needs several specialists and it cannot be done in a small old ''yellow house''. Today even in the hospital in Prishtina there are no possibility to make and organ transplant, less in a small house in the mountings. It is all a lie to hide the real truth on what really happend in Kosovo. I don't reamember albanian tanks and soldiers driving in Belgrade chasing serbian people from their homes.

Recall that there is already a case of illegal organ trade being tried in Prishtina. How far of a stretch is it to go from that case to killing people for their organs?
For my part, nothing is 100% certain. It is completely possible that some of what Marty said is wrong, that's why an investigation is needed. However, there are many accusations made by Marty, including illegal heroin trade and other corruption in addition to the organ trade. Are you saying all of this is a lie? If you want people to take you seriously PRN, you must be willing to listen to reason. Let the investigation begin. Marty has enough evidence to proceed. He doesn't need to have corpses with large holes in their sides to prove his point. Look at many of the cases in the Hague. Their evidence is based on testimony.

(PRN, 21 December 2010 11:06)

PRN, can you say with 100% certainty that everything Marty said is false? Can you say that the illegal organ harvesting is completely out of the realm of possibility?
For instance, has the Hague uncovered 8,000 bodies in Srebrenica? Of course not, yet that trial went on. It's better to think before you write than to write before you think.

Glenn, you're so correct. People will continue to believe what they want, regardless of the actual outcome. Much like the plethora of people that continue to blame everything on Milosevic. The man was never found guilty of anything. He was accused of many things, but after the number of years on trial, there wasn't enough concrete evidence to convict him of anything before his death. All the confident Milosevic accusers on this forum are now turning face and playing the "lack-of-evidence" card as if they'd just discovered it. I wonder if Milosevic's remaining family should have sued NATO and Albania for slandering him?

This is where it gets interesting. Can Marty produce creditable sufficient evidence to link Thaci to the organ trade? If not, Thaci is well in his right to sue Marty.

Glenn

pre 13 godina
