3 thousand people in Albania took advantage of it on the first day. Not too shabby.
The Serbs make Croats or Albanians look good. You ruined it for all of us because everyone sees the Balkans as some sort of Sudan, but in this case the Croats and Albanians are seen as those in Darfur while the Serbs as the military junta of Sudan.

The 3000 that you refer to are refugees seeking entry into the EU not tourists. Wake up and stop dreaming in gaga land.

Albania is the sink hole of Europe and given a chance all of its citizens would emigrate and you talk about poverty. There is nothing worse than your lot that lives in the US scraping a living cleaning toilets and delivering pizzas and then proclaiming it heaven ion earth.

Serbs stood up to the entire world but whop did the Albanians stand up to? Like the Croats who could not even overpower the Bosnaiks, you had to get mother to help you.

I can travel to any country in the world, and have been going, but will never like to go to your country of birth, since I do not trust Ruskies. In no time, they brand you as CIA spy, and then ship you to Gulag. No thanks, Ataman.

Yes Abdul, you would hitch up your camel or flying carpet and away you go. Pity you never left the precincts of your NY slum in your entire life.

I travelled to Greece and Romania on my Serbian passport in the last holiday season. It seems many tourists in general were missing, not just Serbians. I suspect the financial crisis has hit many people in different places, putting them all in "extreme poverty" - ROFL!!

That did sound pretty much unconvincing to say the least.
At least you should say somewhat like "Sweden", because that is probably even correct.

LOL! If Serbs live in extreme poverty, what about Albanians? No matter how bad it is in Serb inhabitated areas, your people never cease to make us look good.

Only few can afford to travel abroad.

Good for you and congratulation. That was a very tough year for us despite me being employed in the States, working remotely.

What countries you visited this year?

However, most people do not use the advantages of the visa-free regime due to the fact that they cannot afford to travel.

This prooves that majority of Serbs live in extreme poverty. Only few can afford to travel abroad.

Border crossings to Hungary and Greece did increase, but usually who cross do not go much further.

Good part of the border crossings to Hungary are just transit by train to visit friends and relatives in Ukraina, Russia, Belarus.

The picture here is the same. The only person who crossed the western border in our family this year was my youngest son for a school-sponsored one-day excursion to Vienna, the price was 20 Euro.

But we DID travel!

1) Krakow (two days)
2) Lvov, Western Ukraine (3 days)
3) Serbia Proper + Kosovo (4 days), transiting through Croatia (Osijek)
4) Domestic (Hungarian) travel 2 days

That's it. That was all the vacation, too. And that was a lot compared to my boss. She was visiting her sister on the other side of the San Francisco bay once or twice. Her husband had NO vacation.

Go serious: these days you are happy to have a paycheck every month. Who speaks about vacation on French Riviera?
