what you "knew" was exactly nothing. why is it that serbia and serbs made Not one single Peep on the claims until Ponte's book...wich still only regurgitated the fiction and not any fact. why didnt serbs care at all up until that point?

This is a very ignorant statement, I have read better ones from you.

For many years the Serbian people have been trying to be heard in regards to this, it just never publisized. Like Marty said, no one talked about it, nor did anyone want to hear about it.

The people responsible for all this have a serous amount of blood on their hands, and this will ruin whoever was behind this, once/if the evidence is capable of getting to the public.

Remember; this is one of the most barbaric type of crimes that can be commited today, I cannot think of anything worse.

@ all the serb apologists.

propaganda is propaganda.

serbs are frothing at the mouth at the media attention. and like the serb govt. Speak as if its still Not all based on propaganda.

so sad.

If there was no evidence then, and there is no evidence now. what exactly do you think is going to happen?

shall we yet again hear the whine of western conspiracies?

Everybody has been waiting on Marti's press conference in Paris to confirm that he has evidence and he will issue that evidence to whatever credible international team that will be established to investigate. However he publicly said he doesn't have evidence.
Vekaric said: Serbia is far ahead with evidences on this case. There is still no official request from Serbia to international community to start investigation. This is really strange to me as an Kosovo Albanian. This would be a way stranger to me if I was a Serb.

Zeka this is not about them. This is bigger than them. Frankly I don't give a crap whether Thaci remains or is made to leave. There is no shortage of people on this earth who strive to be PM's. This is bigger than Thaci. This is about finding the truth. This is a case where investigating is not only for the sake of revealing the truth but also for the sake of those who live there; the whole population. Everyone should have the right to know whether these allegations are true and if they are everyone deserves better representation. An urgent investigation on this is for the well being of the population in Kosova. Not only that but it goes wider than that. With its credibility shredded - not only Ganic, but Jurisic, too - the prosecutor's office is smart not to attempt to try Thaci. Even Marty showed no enthusiasm about the value of its "evidence."

Actually the prisons of cia was a different matter, it was Germany that denounced the case, and it was also many US indipendent individuals that denounced the eventns and even the US public was critical about the way Cia treated the prisoners, ...also, if Martin ever demostrated that cia prisons existed , it does not mean that he is neccesarily right about the organ trade in Balkans...also, if Martin refuses to reveal facts about Medicus, Eulex might seriously consider suing him for hiding important facts that might help solving the case of Medicus...Martin is only abusing with his status and position in CoE, you can not just make this much noise and then just walk away and say ''i can not show the facts because it might influence the trial of Medicus'' or ''i don't need to show any facts because the secret services already know''...bring the facts on and as soon as possible! At this point i can say that all the fuss was actually intented for coffee shop consume, presnally i don't care about Thaci reputation as much as i do care for the Tirana reputation in Europe, in the past Fatos Nano used to be under media pressure and the oposition party verbal attacks, not just for domestic consume but also for intenational consume, many international and domestic media were sued by Nano and eventually our former PM won all the cases, he even sued Albanian Prosecution for politically imprisoning him during 1992-7 perioud and won the case..but still, if you go to a coffee shop in Albania, if you hear ordinary people talking, despite of the fact that Nano resulted totally innocent, ordianary citizents still consider Nano as a maphia boss, although, as an intelectual, it is hard to find some one like Nano in Balkans, he knows at least 6 languages fluently, and is probaly one of the best economists and most versatile politicans in the Balkans...with him , demcracy in Albania jumped up to a new level, and albania-greek relations improved a lot...he even met with milosevic back in 1997, although it was not a wise thing to do for and Albanian politician...actually when they asked him to justify his 500 000 euro apartment in Tirana, he simply showed bills that the acusing parties and newspapers in the trails had been paying...yet, the public opinion remains, and his political adversaries managed to destroy his public figure, i think the same is going on against Thaci.

I love the fact that a gruesome charge has been leveled against the upper elite of Pristina's leadership and even some members of Tirana, and all they can do is sue Marty for "insulting" Thaci. I think there's more at stake than the personal honor of some kleptocrat. But Hash never was a bright lad.
(Mike, 17 December 2010 22:38)

Mike enjoy the media hype for another 2-3 days. After that I am afraid that both you and me will be deeply disappointed. So far it seems nobody in the Serbian leadership actually gives a damn about a through international investigation. Almost day 4 an no calls at all from them for such a thing. It seems as if they're more interested in the success of Thaci's future career than an actual investigation. Better having a bargaining chip and keeping silent than actually taking action and possibly become disappointed from the results. Seems as if an injured Thaci as a PM is more useful to Serbia than a thorough investigation which most likely would result with his disappearance from politics but with final results that are in no way certain.
With Tadic and Jeremic in Serbia seems like Thaci's position will never be in jeopardy. They seem to have created and agreed on a vicious circle that Keeps Tadic and Jeremic in power in Serbia and Thaci in Kosova (Haradinaj in the coming months).

It can not be hard to give evidence with all those witnesse.

Follow the path of the money and you will find evidence.

Until now none of these has been given in the last decade.

Only Serbs/Serbia want to make a ly come through by keeping repeating it.

If however, these crimes have commited than these people (whomever, whenever) should come before the court.

I do not wish to justify these crime (if proved) by saying the following:

Serbs are masters in detecting the splinter in the Albanian eye and still they are missing the beam in there own eye.

This is not justice; this is political pandering. If you and may others here are for actual justice and seeking the truth you should be calling for urgent action from your government rather than cheering newspaper titles. This is the criticism.

Ah, the secret 'evidence he can't talk about'. But EULEX already called your bluff Dick and is talking about it: "no evidence whatsoever to link those two cases. The Medicus case is a serious case of international organised crime involving organ trafficking and Eulex had made considerable progress in prosecuting the case."

And ask others: "The fact is that there is no evidence whatsoever in this case," said Matti Raatikainen, head of the war crimes unit of Eulex, the European Law and Justice Mission in Kosovo."

“They knew about all these charges and suspicions, but they did nothing to prosecute or examine them. On the contrary, they did all they could to cover up the whole thing and to prevent witnesses from participating and testifying about the crimes committed at the time,” Ljajić said.

-- Where is the actuall call for an investigation. This is nothing. Call for a full blown investigation on the case. Where is it? Shouldn't you be going against those these rumors accuse first? Why deciding not to do that?

Special Political Adviser to the Hague Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Frederick Swinnen meanwhile told Tanjug that this office is "monitoring Belgrade's moves, but will not voice its stand until it receives the request to launch the proceedings which the Serbian authorities announced".

-- Weird that there's no actual moves.

"The Hague no longer has the authority to join in on the activities regarding the case, since the process of issuing new indictments has been completed," Ljajić said.

-- Not good enough. You're doing nothing over this. You urgently call the UN and ask for a mandate for international investigative bodies to do this. Why aren't you taking this action? What is actually stopping you?

"The Ministry of Justice also reacted in Belgrade this afternoon, to say that "Serbia has been saying for a long time that Hashim Thaci is one of the most responsible parties for the organ trade in Kosovo and northern Albania, and that the case also concerns organized crime, beside war crimes". "

-- Why for all this long time you knew your ministry and your government took no actions in requesting the UN for an international investigation? Why? What is the reason for a decade long passivity and silence?

State Secretary Slobodan Homen said he was "glad that the (Marty) report happened", and that there is evidence necessary for criminal proceedings to be launched.

-- Actually Dick himself said he didn't provide evidence in the report. I hope and wish Dick would submit such evidence to UNSC instead of frequent miles to Moscow.

"On the other hand, this is about political relations and without a clear message and influence from the international community, it is not likely that Thaci will face trial," said Homen.

-- No this is is about Serbia's attitude. Without clear, urgent and decisive actions from Serbia there will be no trial. The next step is to urgently call a UN meeting and request an international criminal investigation? Why aren't you doing it? A decade has passed. 3 days have passed after the report. Why no official actions are taken yet?

Everybody has been waiting on Marti's press conference in Paris to confirm that he has evidence and he will issue that evidence to whatever credible international team that will be established to investigate. However he publicly said he doesn't have evidence.
Vekaric said: Serbia is far ahead with evidences on this case. There is still no official request from Serbia to international community to start investigation. This is really strange to me as an Kosovo Albanian. This would be a way stranger to me if I was a Serb.

Speaking for B92 on Friday evening, Ljajić said he will on Monday request that proceedings be launched against former heads of UNMIK, including Chief Soren Jessen-Petersen "and several other persons who interfered with the investigation because the policy of the international community in Kosovo at the time put stability before justice".

Don't forget ti file charges against four Serbs arrested in Kosova trying to pay K-Serbs 300 thousand euros just to make up a story for organ story+ well known Serb surgen named Zoran Stankovic, which he said publicly that is next to impossible for any oeration to take place in the so called yellow house.

Kujto

pre 13 godina

>> "Marty added that he was in possession of more information on who received the organs taken from victims in 1999, and about the countries involved, but that he could not provide more details at this time due to the ongoing Medicus Clinic trial in Priština. "

Google them for the full story. So where's the beef Dick? In the CIA case you provided VERIFIABLE evidence, not rumors.

johny

pre 13 godina

Marty concluded by saying: "I think the international community must learn who the KLA leaders were." ....WOW... that it is s tough that.. I wish people like you have been in Kosova at that time have a real taste of Serbian domination because hearing from seeing are two different things and about all this story they are no any strong prove even Marty conclusion are taken from Del ponte even she wrote in here book about Yellow house case were just told stories but they where not science proves like DNA or anything to prove but still "if" really such thing really happen those individuals need to be punished where ever they are. but the thing is Serbian are calling this early victory why they are not trying to find over 2000 Albanian missing body's and really where they are and what's happen with there body's does anyone have a solution for that....

(Zeka, 17 December 2010 21:36)

Justice has not been revealed. Rumors have; but rumors have been there for a while. What I personally criticize is that instead of calling for urgent actions from your government and actually being worried that 3 days have passed an no concrete actions have been taken by the government you're ecstatic over the media hype. This is not justice; this is political pandering. If you and may others here are for actual justice and seeking the truth you should be calling for urgent action from your government rather than cheering newspaper titles. This titles won't be there next week. What will be there is a total lack of action from your government. You should think why neither Jeremic nor Tadic have not urgently contacted the UN and ask for an immediate mandate over an international investigation specific to this case and this case only; putting all the resources on this case until its solved. This is the criticism.

The ball is rolling. After the manipulated elections in Kosovo have been discovered and a new voting in some municipalities has been ordered for January, there's enough time to find more evidenence.

The times of Thaci will come to an end, eventually. And that's good, not only for Kosovo...

Stop talking, show the evidence.

You do not need to lecture us or the world what truth, honesty, respect for life, ... is.

We, Albanians, know you as nobody else does and we know your weaknesses.

My good man, it's not the Serbs alone who are making these accusations and it's not the Serbs that will be in the witness box.

Don't ever paint the evil on the wall! And in particular, not at the time when less than a week left till Catholic Christmas and less than three till pravoslav.

For your sins now you have to

1) cross yourself ten times (OK, I wont' enforce the direction but if it's the 'wrong' one, left-to-right - than do it twenty times, just in case)

2) say "Отче наш" three times
3) buy five candles.
4) look at this picture for at least a minute:

5) listen to this music at least once:

"Contempt of court"? That charge against the Serb prosecutors in the Ganic case really stung, didn't it? Zeka this is not about them. This is bigger than them. Frankly I don't give a crap whether Thaci remains or is made to leave. There is no shortage of people on this earth who strive to be PM's. This is bigger than Thaci. This is about finding the truth. This is a case where investigating is not only for the sake of revealing the truth but also for the sake of those who live there; the whole population. Everyone should have the right to know whether these allegations are true and if they are everyone deserves better representation. An urgent investigation on this is for the well being of the population in Kosova. Not only that but it goes wider than that. An an investigation on this is for the well being of the region as dark overhanging clouds and baggage is removed from positions of power. It is because of this that I find inaction from Serb state very odd.
