It is only because Belgrade (or the ones occupying it) have turned a cold shoulder to the Serbs south of the Ibar.

Sad. This all has to do with the leadership there. Nobody really cares about Pristina.. but what can you do when there are rats in power.

Kosovo je Srbija. We are stronger than you. You cannot do this without outside help.

“Generally it’s good when somebody want to take responsibility for their own destiny, but trouble is that the weak and the ignorant have gotten into something very serious this time,” the state secretary pointed out.

-- Oh no he didn't. As an outsider by the way; it seems to me that it is in fact this guy that's causing division. If you call people weak and ignorant don't expect any flowers in return. Anyways whatever; this is a Serb on Serb issue.

"All these investments were made by Government of Kosovo. Hundreds of serb houses were rebuild with no cent coming from Serbia. I have yet to see anything in serbian villages in Kosovo bult by Serbia while their medias are full of billions of dinars "invested" in Kosovo. "

You forgot to mention where the cents for these investments are coming from! Not from Serbia, that's correct. The "Government of Kosovo" is spending the money of donor countries.

According to him, neither the Serbian government nor the Serbs in northern Kosovo will bear responsibility for that but “solely the Serbs south of the Ibar River who decided to solve the problem without their country”.

-- This is one of the few times I really have to disagree with Ivanovic. The decision of K-Serbs south of the Ibar to vote in these elections would appear to be because Belgrade has in fact neglected them. It's one thing to say "boycott" in Mitrovica, but quite another in Gracanica, or worse Strpce. I have to really applaud the ingenuity of Gracanica Serbs to basically fend for themselves all this time, as neither Belgrade nor Pristina focus on them. I don't know how many Serbs will participate - sources range from estimating hardly any to some even saying as many as 20 - 30 seats in the Pristina-based parliament could go to them - but I do know that most, if not all K-Serbs who vote, are doing so because Belgrade either cannot, or will not, invest time with them since they're so fixed on the north. Therefore, it seems to me that Serb-voting (and we have to remember that Belgrade said they wouldn't punished for doing so), has more to do with taking local matters and concerns into their own hands instead of any solidarity in protest with Belgrade, or any alleged belief that these people have suddenly accepted the Albanian-led kleptocracy as their legitimate authority. The diaspora posters can argue that if they want. This is local politics for those who vote. Let's see what the turnouts produce.

Well so far the serbian government couldnt solve any problem for the Kosovo serbs so the Kosovo serbs are getting with reality and joining the Kosovo institutions.
The serb government has done nothing to help the serbs of Kosovo.

I really could not agree with you more, Montenegrin. Serb government has done nothing whatsoever. As a citizen of Kosovo I see everyday improvements in villages where the serbs are majority. All these investments were made by Government of Kosovo. Hundreds of serb houses were rebuild with no cent coming from Serbia. I have yet to see anything in serbian villages in Kosovo bult by Serbia while their medias are full of billions of dinars "invested" in Kosovo. Even serbian government has admitted that money went to individual pockets and not to people in need.

oh, but they are solving the problem within Kosova.Don't you wish Oli to be once again Kosova MP, like the old times?
You switched sides to highest bidder, but soon you will regreat since you will be dropped like hot potatoe.
