Garden, house, kitchen, living room- family photos, one bronze medal, working booklet- builder and no weapons at all. An hour later all that went in biggest explosion Vukovar (suburb) was living those days. The only house you couldn't really explain where it was - was Tomislav Mercep house. Small hill of grey mass, nothing else. (first hand)

But I'll be "more" diplomatic and shorter if I say that mini Serb revolution was needed in the beginning of the war, to put things "out of control" and have Zagreb way before Vukovar happen.. We would have all those criminals behind bars or out of the country preventing massacres and preventing Western media to even begin it's war. The current was existing but belief in better decisions drove the things day by day in known direction. So simple.

The symptoms were obvious and Mercep was doing terrifying things long time before we reacted. WHY? Are the lower levels of command responsible? Of course not. Milosevic and ten people were playing politicians living in dreams that they'll
prevail in media war, worst than just sleeping..

Well, well, well. Uber scum Mercep is arrested by the croatian authorities of all peoples. Credit where credit it due.

As for the ICTY, that 'investigated' Mercep numerous times but ultimately did nothing, they will forever go down in history as the institutionally racist political court that they really are.

One of their prime expressed goals was to 'bring light on events that happened in the former Yugoslavia' but we discovered when arch islamicist Izetbegovic died that they were 'secretly investigating' him for war crimes. In the spirit of declared ICTY openess and transparency, they then declared all materials related to this investigation to be sealed, i.e. to be locked away from public view!

Of course, let us not mention that the ICTY's remit precludes it from investigating anything that happened outside of the territory of the ex-SFRY, so political support for division, weapons smuggling, direct military support by western european powers who also turned a blind eye to war crimes or are actively protecting war criminals (Gotovina and the US military support for Operations 'Storm' and 'Flash' for example) does not get investigated.

The narrative must be kept simple for the peasants. It's the serbs fault and everyone else is a victim. Despite all this, history will tell a different story and the court will be seen for what it is, a thoroughly corrupt and biased court of certain powers whose rotten existence was only possible due to the vacuum of power after the Cold War.

Again, congrats to the croatian authorities for arresting Mercep, now all they have to do (apart from bang him up for life) is openly publicize how he (and his cohorts) 'helped' set the balkans on fire and alienated the croatian serbs.

While we are here, let us not forget that Rear Admiral Davor Domazet was part of the Croatian Defense Ministry Department for Special Warfare who produced a fake flier porported to be by the RSK army, dropped on Croatian Serbs a couple of days before the offensive telling serb civilians to flee.
