It amazes me how ridiculouos Serbian politics has become. Serb officials will show their hand if you just let them speak.

It's quite strange that IM would comment on the murder of a random person. He may have been a murdered. I don't know. But, it's strange for an IM to make such a comment.

And, it does confirm that N Mitro is a haven for criminals and sponsored by Belgrade.

The right thing should've been to condemn the killing. Bring him to face justice and not take the law into one's own hands.

I think Serbrs are their own worst enemy.
Pity!

Always so refreshing and breathtaking to read the usual albanian trolls around here....

Always so refreshing and entertaining to read the usual serbian troll hidden behind The Swiss. It is always different and "reasonable" when killings are organized by serbs.

Zoti,

Certainly criminal elements are everywhere, but nothing compares to the ACTUAL criminals your community supports in Kosovo. From Thaci to..well..take your pick, gun running, slavery, murder, grave desecration along with Church burnings is the fundemental ideology of kosovo albanian politicans and residents.

But let's take honesty further..no one is innocent when it comes to political corruption. Why is it all the political elite are freeking out regarding the Wiki leaks? An old wise man once said, "love your country, but never trust your governement." This rule applies to Serbians and albanians alike.

"The minister noted that Salković escaped to Kosovo after committing the crime, ...
and participation in a fight in 1996."

The victim was not tried in court ever, how minister knows he did commit the crime?
Does he has to mention that victim was in fight when he was 16 year old? That is ridicoulus. Thank God he is not my minister!

According to operational information, Salković came into contact with criminal groups in Kosovo and participated in their activities related to illegal trade, human trafficking, gunrunning and drug smuggling, Dačić said.

So Dacic is basically saying that North Mitrovica is run by criminal groups who participate in illegal trade, human trafficking, gunrunning and drug smuggling. No wonder they're so adamant in keeping it under Serb control.

This story seems fishy; and frankly like a fabrication.
It is very odd that a minister be talking to the media about an "ordinary" criminal as he sees this guy.
Something deeper going on here; maybe.

It is no surprise, SPS is renown for for terror in the 1990s especially in Bosnia and Kosovo.

SHAME!

I wonder why Dacic did not say all of the above while he was still alive?
Very interesting, that afet he was ambushed and murdered, Serb IM comes up with all these accusations.
(Kosova-USA, 10 December 2010 10:54)

Yeah, because it's the job of the Interior Minister of a country to waltz around openly to the media, shouting the name of everyone who happens to be involved in drug trafficking and high-level crime. You know, because openly announcing to the people (and the criminals themselves) that they'll be tracking and trying to capture them is smart, considering that they're trying to catch them. If you want to catch someone, you generally try and be covert about it. Not to mention the fact that there was difficulty due to him living in Kosovo, which made it much more difficult for the Serbian Police to try and arrest him.

I wonder if the Kosovar Intelligence Services function on your logic and understanding of policing and catching criminals. Maybe they should learn a few things from Mossad, since pretty much every Nazi that we'd like to catch has been caught.

The very fact that the serbian goverment is soooo keen in repeating these that the victims were criminals, makes me think even more that there is something fishy going on here and that he was killed by serbs.

Its unusual for the goverment to comeout with statements which basically are trying to say 'look it wasn't us, someone else had a motive'. Then again it could be anyone - but unusual nonetheless
