Key points:

1. Admission on the part of Serb government that Kosovo will never be under Serb influence again. As someone mentioned it's common knowledge with the exception of some delusional or ignorant folks.

2. Albanians in Macedonia need to enjoy equal rights as everyone else. If not, they will take over that country, peacefully in 20 years when they equal 50% of the population. I think it will be sooner, but let's go off of Tadic's projections.

3. Have the US broker a deal between Kosovo and Serbia. A deal that both sides can live with.

Hint: Swap N. Mitro for Presheva Valley. It's no secret that neither side wants to live with each other.

Tadic said tht serbia was contemplating "military intervention". Hmmm its seems like a major staement. If it was just a bluff he wouldnt be stating this to the US ambassador. Albanians need to make one wrong move and its game over for them.

It is interesting that on the same day B-92 reports that Tadic is the most popular politician in Serbia several other facts come out, thanks to Wikileaks, that show what kind of politician Tadic really is. Apparently, Tadic has been working behind closed doors for future Serbian integration into the NATO killing machine while simultaneously determining how best to split Kosovo with Albania. If that's what Serbians want, just so they can integrate with the EU, then there are many who will no longer consider themselves Serbs. And what is the value of telling the United States that Macedonia is more important to Serbia than Republika Srpska? When Serbia no longer cares about Serbs beyond its borders is there really any reason to consider onesself Serbian?

"Ratković argued that the northern part of Kosovo had a history distinct from the rest of the province, claiming that the three districts north of the Ibar were only annexed to the province after World War II to counter-balance the rapid growth of the ethnic Albanian population".

-- As long as you willingly ignore Presheva Valley; you will be willingly ignored.

Top there is nothing realistic here until Presheva Valley is part of the equation. Everyone can make the same argument Ratkovic is making about the North, i relation to Presheva Valley. It had a distinct history from the rest of Serbia and it was annexed to counterbalance population numbers. Serbs have still not learned to be sincere with themselves.

well, my dear KOSO... well, perhaps you feel to secure in your little freak creation down there on southern serbian soil.

it´s just a question of time, I´d say. some day sooner or later in the future, some of your "friends" will come to the conclusion that helping Serbia to restore control over what is and always was serbian, is far more progressive than to even only try to fight those who never give up. and the developments in Macedonia are rather an argument pro Serbia. but you don´t seem to realize that.

the sooner our Albanians come to reason, the better for them. otherwise, a qick and strong military impetus is not so improbable as kids like you might believe.

it would only be unlikely that the western powers would admit that they provided Serbia with what is needed in order to take care.

but again, I think that is only a question of time.

let´s just see what future brings...

Great to read some realistic options about Macedonia, Bosnia, Partition of Kosovo, EU and NATO, without the need for rhetorics to please some nationalistic part of the population.

Oh, how I love Wikileaks. If anyone wants proof that Tadic is a sell-out then there it is my friends.

For me NATO membership is where things begin to look ugly.

The guardian article reconfirmed my love for the Americans.

Ambassador Dell says is bluntly and clearly. The new "democratic" institutions are an illusion of Milosevician policies. He also reiterates that the north is "rotting" plagued by "thugs" and criminals. Ambassador Dell also reaffirms that GOK is being patient this whole time while EU politicians are scared to make decisions.

Lastly, he states that Serbia thinks confronting EU is a proper technique to handle foreign affairs.

PS: He also mentions that Tadic knows that Serbia will never rule it again...but that's not important, that's common knowledge with the exception of delusional souls.

As for Tadić's views on NATO, his advisor said that he "believes that Serbia cannot remain outside of NATO forever, but doesn't say this often because of the political sensitivity of the issue".
