"Haradinaj has perviously handed himself in (first trial) and he will do so again after the leave expires. That's one of the main factors the courts use when deciding who to realese - the risk of escape / hiding."

Exactly. That's not the problem. And about intimidating witnesses (or doing worse things to them), Haradinaj surely doesn't need to do that in person: He has enough connections to buddies who will eagerly do this dirty job...

Plenty of time to elimiante all potential witnesses like last time. But when the beacon of democracy 'uncle sam' is protecting you - you can basically get away with any crime imaginable.

I've never heard that Seselj has asked for a temporary release, and if he does he should be entitled, just as Haradinaj, becausse both, in my view and according to what I have read so far, ar both war criminals who should remain in jail for the rest of their life. Both are responsible of crimes and atrocities perpetrated by their paramilitaries.

Unlike Ramush, Seselj's case is in reality finished to Seselj's benefit, it was long delayed and the not guilty verdict is still being postponed. Even Western puppet Vesna Pesic said they'd release Seselj bc they had ZERO. Check B92 archives

The won't release him because Serbia has a very good record of hiding and harbouring war criminials.
