Muslim council seeks "internationalization of problems"

It's a familiar agenda. Foment chronic instability, provoke central government, then do your utmost to drag outside factors into the equation. Radical Islamists thrive on chaos. Their approach is the same the world over. Offer nothing of value to your own people, but play the victim card and blame everybody else for your plight. I doubt the Americans are interested in becoming involved in yet another troublespot. They spend most of their time keeping an eye on their albanian friends. The Saudis are another matter. They will expend time and endless resources via the wahhabi's in an effort to undermine Belgrade. And then there are the Turks who profess to be a factor of stability. I would take that with a big pinch of salt.

Here they go again causing problems. Just grow up and get on with your lives.

Last time I was in Novi Pazar about a year ago and wanted to buy ayran in a muslim eatery. They had no ayran. Sadly, not even in stores. I asked - how come? Ayran is being sold all over Kosovo. They told me: "bruhaha, we are muslim Serbs and not sh**tars". That's precisely the word they used. And booed and hissed and laughed. Maybe they were just influenced by SPC, MUP and Putin secret agents?

You may wait some time, but unification with Kosovo will come eventually - under this sign:

The only problem in Sandzak is the internal fighting between muslims parties. And they blame Serbia for disscrimination. This is Serbia. Even when Turks came to the Balkans muslims knew that this was and will always be Christian land. Serbs received them as guests and now they complain. Same thing with albanians in Kosovo. Serbs saved them from Enver Hoxha and now they thank us by stealing Serbian land.

The delegation will tell Izetbegović and Cerić about "permanent occurrences of discrimination and violations of rights of Bosniaks in Serbia" B92
Again, a claim of discrimination and abuse of rights of Serbian Muslims in Serbia, but no specifics. Can one of these Muslim leaders please explain what these abuses are, can they list them? Can anyone on this site say what the abuses are?

Nobody seems to like to be with Serbia. I guess Serbs(who got created as a 'nation' by intermarriages between Slavs and Gypsies) seem to be OK only with Gypsies and Ruskies....It seems there is no coincidence...

I think that racism against gypsies/roma/цигaни is considered ok by some as it is rampant in Europe (and thus 'modern' and 'good' as everything in the West is), as we have seen recently in France and we know occurs with much less media coverage across the rest of Europe. The so-called great institutions in Brussels such as the Commission and European Parliament (bastion of rights!) effectively ignored them until the French debacle. The only credit goes out to the Council of Europe, which funnily enough, has nothing to do with Brussels, being the European equivalent of the UN. It has almost none of the politicized human rights issues that the other european 'institutions' have. Its reports are pretty good:

The former Kosovo Ombudsman Anton Marek Nowicki's reports on Kosovo were also very good (and whose work was also respected by the average kosovo albanian), but his term was not renewed as he openly criticized the international presence (UNMIK et al) for turning a blind eye to discrimination. Since then, a kosovo albanian has taken the job and we no longer hear a squeak out of the organization. Still Nowicki's reports are still on the website (the annual reports are particularly good). Nowicki's 'Pro Memoria' parting text says it all. Unfortunately He died in the polish plane crash that took the lives of many top polish officials on their way to commemorate the Katyn massacre.

Peggy I agree with everything you say in the last comment about anti-Roma racism. The problem with your first comment, that some ethnic group are "better" than another one, because "Gypsies mind their own business and they don't murder and expel people from their own land.
They are not dangerous which cannot be said for Albanians," well, I agree that gypsies don't do that, but I could just as easily say, based on the historical record, that they don't do these things "unlike the Serbs", and so "gypsies are not dangerous, which cannot be said for Serbs," but then people would rightly accuse me of demonising all Serbs on the basis of what certain Serb political and military chiefs were responsible for etc. And it is the same for Albanians. I repeat - you first response merely made the same kind of remark PRN was aking in reverse.

I certainly did not mean to be racist. I was only stating a fact so if the cap fits....

I am really fed up with some people attacking Roma and saying how they are so much better than them.
These people do not deserve a mild mannered response because they are insulting and hurtful.

Like I stated before, Roma do not go on the attack and cleanse any area of it's inhabitants in order to prevail. All they want is to be left alone.
The evil of this world are the ones who think they are superior to another human being and subject others to abuse and humiliation simply because they don't get support for their wild ideas.

If we are going to debate anything, please stop with insulting the people who are not mixed up in any of this and who only want to live a quiet life.

Roma as disadvantaged as they are, are far superior to their attackers because they don't do any harm to others.

My dear Albanians, look at yourselves in the mirror first before you start attacking a whole race of people who have done nothing to you.
