Leonidas, could not agree more.

There is a crises in the US intelligence/defence departments. To have so many documents given to Wiki Leaks is not the work of one or two people but an entire legion that have very high security clearances and thus access to this stuff. They must be fed up to the teeth of this new cabal running the US and running it into the ground for their own gain.

By issuing arrest warrants they are turning Assange into a hero and martyr which is a very dangerous road to take. This only produces even more determined people to bring the current lot of governments down. Even Joe Stalin had to back down on unpopular laws or actions.

"Latest revelations by wikileaks reveal thet politicians have been feeding the people with lies through the mass media for years but now they have the power to find out their crooked dealings and privileges and they will take back what they've created and its theirs.

Don't get your hopes up, Leonidas - the politicians whose words in Wiki don't match what they've been telling their people - the Chinese and Arabs, for example - have ways of blocking internet access to the Leaks. And probably ways of blocking access by Leaks to any compromising documents.

Assange is wanted for questioning in Sweden in connection to sexual molestation allegations, which he has denied. He has not been charged.
The website itself has repeatedly been coming under massive DDoS attacks. On Wednesday, Amazon.com stopped providing its hosting services to WikiLeaks.

How convenient. The man who brought embarrassment to many corrupt politicians has a warrant out for his arrest on charges of "serious sexual allegations".But unfortunately for them the Swedish arrest warrant issued recently included reference to the rape charges, not exclusively the molestation charge, and so is invalid and cannot be enforced.

The news that Amazon has 'evicted' WikiLeaks from their servers and that US hackers have been attacking 'the right to know', could have reprecursions on ithe amazon if there was truly a worldwide boycot on its website.I think this could happen given the power of the internet today.

Politicians across the world probably have realised-given the worldwide power of the internet-people are watching them instead of them watching the people.

I ,for my part ,would sooner have Assange nominated for a Nobel Prize, but even he might think twice about that one, since Mr Obama soiled it all for everybody else.
