Very accurate observation, but the main problem is that the Albanos will not stand for it, they are to this day STILL waiting for a reason to take up arms and "fight-for-freedom". If partition would actually take effect, the Albanos would loose all their support over-night, and Serb forces would be in Pristina within 3 hours, if not less. So you see partition is only possible to attain within a week period, and evetually turn into a war.

I have asked you questions in my last post. Please answer them becasuse your reply is, to use your words "a rant" on the strength of the Albanians and morale standing to a free Kosovo.
Let me remind you of fact that the US never, never wanted negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina. Let me be the first to tell you that as NATO is changing with the Russians on board Kosovo is no longer militarily important – a fact you will find out very soon. The US citizen is like a mushroom; kept in the dark and fed on BS 24/7.
Please tell me in your logical way why is Kosovo so important to the world and what does Kosovo have that makes it so. Also, no human right nonsense or freedom or democracy crap in your response. That’s only propaganda to hide ones ignorance. While you’re at it please tell me why the US has not opened up industry in Kosovo to help out its allies?
I’m tired of every Albo asking me about the UN resolution and the ICJ because I’ve explained it over and over again. The ICJ was not a ruling it was an unbinding opinion –go back and ask the ICJ to declare Kosovo independent. The US would never ever allow it to happen. The US has saved face and that’s it boys. It does not want thousands of little nations popping up everywhere – Indonesia has 1000 islands alone and as many ethnic groups.
The resolution was a compromise because the US was concerned it could not win and the humiliation on the world stage would have been staggering. So Serbia got negotiations. Do you think for a moment that the Russians who will have one of their major gas pipelines going through that region allow Tadic to sell them out? When the Russians heard of this proposal their Ambassador issued a statement of concern until the Serbs disclosed the strategy to them. They were happy with it.
Oh, even you Pristina said that status will be discussed – don’t blame me it was your Albos that made that statement.

AdamNYC,

You seem very knowledgable about Kosovo.
So please tell me;

What industry would Kosovo be able to capitalize on? Any resources available to help turn the wheels in its economy? Any industries or foreign investors looking at the hard work ethic of the "Kosovo-people"?

Besides hand-outs (donations) and foreign "aid", you really have nothing else to rely on. Ironically, Kosovo and Tuvala are in the EXACT same economic situation. Where the only steady jobs available are within the governement.

@sj

do you not see you just went off into a rant? you posed no argument.

you use of the word "boy" to refer to me does not change the fact that all you have is angry PROPAGANDA.

Serbia is unwanted. do you understand? serbia is limp an ineffectual, you speak as if serbia has a say in kosovo... it does not. kosovo can be a desert wasteland, and serbia a land of milk and honey beyond even your most rabid dreams of chinese/russian finanacial super duper powery.

That is what you so desperately wich to portray. What you dont seem to understand, is so what? serbia is still is an unwanted squatter. No 3rd party politics will change that.

The ONLY thing that has changed sj, is serbia's continuing capitulation. It is happening step by step. dont get mad at me SJ, it is serbia that is now willing to speak to the govt. that it has pretended doesnt exist for decades.

There is No question on the status of kosovo. None, zip, nada. Kosovo's independence is not up for discussion.

you can lie to yourself as much as you wish, you can lie to your own as much as you wish.

the only thing that will come of talks is serbias acceptance.

the Serb govt. and its pretty speeches and propaganda, that you swallow so easily does not matter sj.

The Day serbia capitulated at the UN, and refused to challenge the icj ruling..or make any further legal challenges of any kind and made the resolution as authored by the EU i explained to serb apologists what will happen.

serbia will be given a way out... all the rights, powers, representation the ungratefull serb population are gifted with in kosovo, will be re-worked, re-named, re-arranged during talks. Nothing will violate the Constitution of the republic of Kosovo... and Serbia will be given innefectual bragging rights on looking out for the interests of kosovo serbs.

Thats politics SJ.

for serbia however, the Propaganda needed to reach that political conclusion will evolve of course, get ready to hear more and more about the "the status of kosovo serbs."

there is no where else to go.

It really is funny how blind serb apologists can be.

SJ, you go to great lengths to poorly explain how quickly the fortunes of politics can reverse...and it will be to the detrement of kosovo.

you totally miss the reality that it ALREADY has reversed. Serbia Blinked.

It is very hard to tell from your posts, are they simply meant to elicit a response or can someone possibly be that delusional?
(a New Day, 26 November 2010 14:15)
I would be more than happy to accept your analysis of being deluded. But which part of my last posting is delusional? Which part of my posting is incorrect?
As far as Kosovo’s worth is concerned then I suggest that you read B92’s article - _Criminals may have attacked EULEX official” – “The real problem is the lack of economic development and unemployment that breed corruption and crime. Kosovo needs to overcome its dependence on international aid and start creating its own wealth."
How would Kosovo on its own “create this wealth” when it has nothing of any real value?”
If I am delusional then the rest of the world is with me including the head of EULEX in Kosovo.
Wake up and stop looking through rose colored glasses. Living comfortably in the US and making these idealistic statements is easy; why don’t you go over there to live?

Watch and learn boy; just watch and learn.
The west is now governed by the most stupid individuals on this planet and especially the US – look do you need any more proof than Afghanistan? The US was negotiating with a senior Taliban leader to join the freedom and democracy love fest in Kabul and he turns out to be an imposter and takes away $10 million which they gave him in cash!!!!!!! I don’t know what you call this but this in my book is stupidly of the highest order – swindle extraordinaire. Where was your US intelligence services? This is only a small example.
Politics is politics – look at Lybia; for decades Gadafi was a terrorist now the US loves him. Just because one Serb politician made a consiliatory statement it’s all over for Serbia. Negotiations were NEVER on the table for Kosovo but they are now; Status was NEVER on the table but it is now.
I’ve seen some deluded people but nothing beats the Albanians thinking as if Kosovo has something of great value except mouths to feed. If the US/EU were on top then they would NEVER condone negotiations but they are not.
Where is your industry? Who will even open a store let alone industry in Kosovo? Why has the west not opened up industry in Kosovo to relieve the high levels of unemployment – 80 to 90%? Industry is opening up in Serbia every week; where does the EU want you to find work???????????? Albania? The EU?
You just keep on thinking that the west is great and strong if it gives you comfort. Why doesn’t the US do something about North Korea instead of blowing hot air all the time?

of course its capitulation... but it doesnt matter.

Goran Bogdanović holds a fantasy title, he was voted for and represents no one in kosovo.

you must understand, that elections, the participation of kosovo serbs in the govt. of the federal republic of kosovo has nothing to do with the govt. of serbia.

i know its tough on serb apologists to watch those in the serb govt... who for a decade pretended the govt. of kosovo didnt exist, now offer of their own accord, "understanding" and approval... although nice to see the evolution, is still irrelevent as no one in kosovo has been, or is asking the serb govt. if its ok or not.

Oh I have learnt from my experience very well and can smell a rat from miles away.

You Albanians are deluded individuals taking a position as if Kosovo was as important as say Germany. What does Kosovo have? industry – no; water resources – no; minerals – no; oil no, gas – no; strategic value to NATO – not any more since NATO will be reconfigured.

So tell me how is it that the “Kosovars” are in a position of advantage again?

Forget what the Serb politicians have said in the past it’s called POLITICS; look at your Albos politicians in Pristina who had repeatedly said that many things were not take place including negotiations and status was NEVER on the table for discussion.

Enjoy your fantasy boys but I have told you guys that status was on the cards for the negotiations and I was “howled down” by the Albanians. You don’t know when you’re being sold a “story”, but if it keeps you happy just keep thinking like this, but soon I’ll be writing “I told you so”.

Bogdanovic is only following a set script to defuse tension, that’s all. This is to set up the negotiations to take place. This is what you call western style diplomacy – I don’t like it but here it is.

I’ve had a little more experience in politics than you have and this is no capitulation – guaranteed. You Albanians recall that it was “no status raised during negotiations” well you were proven wrong even Pristina mentioned status on the agenda.
Had Bogdanovic made this statement 5 or 6 years ago then you would have been right, it would have been capitulation, but it too, too late because your allies are BROKE and this is only the beginning of a slow reversal process of what occurred 12 years ago.
Ask yourself this question; why is Panasonic or Fiat or Hyundai opening factories in Serbia? Why is western industry doing this, but not a single move has been made in Kosovo. The reason is simple as the nose on your face – you have to look for work in Serbia not the EU. So who do you think will be boss of the region; Serbia with new industry opening up every day or Albanians from Kosovo with nothing. Serbia can turn the tap on and off when and how it likes.
Bogdanovic is only following a set script to defuse tension; wait till the next few announcements come from Pristina – you will really be socked then.

It is a shame that you did not learn from the extra experience.
The govt calls for a boycott of the elections, Serbs in Kosovo realize it is in their best interest that if they are to have representation they must participate, Serbia must either support them or alienate them. Simple choice.

Note the difference in dialogue from 2 years ago.
Serbia's stance 2 years ago "Kosovo is an inalienable part of Serbia" now "We will never recognize the 'unilateral' declaration of independence of Kosovo"

When is the last time you heard an official speak of Kosovo and Serbia as a single entity?
5 years ago a Serbian politician would have rather cut out his tongue than admit that Kosovo was a UN protectorate under Res 1244, now it is a daily attempt to refute the independent status of Kosovo. Before it was "No EU without Kosovo" now it is "No Recognition of Kosovo as a prerequisite of EU". Before it was "Do not participate in UNMIK called elections" to "Do not participate in Kosovo Elections because they are not called by UNMIK" to "We do not want you to participate, but we understand if you do". This is transitioning, Serbia is just a few years behind but they are catching up.

WHAT a U turn...typical Serbian.
Until yesterday they were all saying NO, NO don't vote as the conditions are not right and other bla blaa ....now they say NO PROBLEM mates...do it and work for your community, just as Mr Thaci has been saying for years.

Mr. Bogdanovic,...you are also welcomed to vote...and you could be a great help for Serbian community if you (win sufficient votes to) join the Thaci-Rambo forthcoming government...
(PRN, 25 November 2010 09:44)

I'm slightly curious. If "Kosova" is independent then how come it allows political parties from Belgrade to participate in elections in this "independent Kosova"? Which other "country" allows political parties of other countries to participate in their elections?

It is IMPORTANT that they participate in election organised by independent Kosovo institutions which BTW are recognized by countries of all 5 continents. What's surprising even Serbian government is joining the international community to encourage them to vote...

Bogdanovic says "we will RESPECT those who participate..."

I guess Belgrade is waking up from Milosevic's sleep and myths of the past,... slowly but surely...

@sj

do you not see you just went off into a rant? you posed no argument.

you use of the word "boy" to refer to me does not change the fact that all you have is angry PROPAGANDA.

AdamNYC,

You seem very knowledgable about Kosovo.
So please tell me;

AdamNYC

@sj

its quite amusing to read your posts... when it doesnt contain the nonsensical east/west financial rants. its like we can watch in real time how serb apologists delude themsleves.

politics and propaganda are 2 very different things sj.

of course its capitulation... but it doesnt matter.

Giorgio

Very accurate observation, but the main problem is that the Albanos will not stand for it, they are to this day STILL waiting for a reason to take up arms and "fight-for-freedom". If partition would actually take effect, the Albanos would loose all their support over-night, and Serb forces would be in Pristina within 3 hours, if not less. So you see partition is only possible to attain within a week period, and evetually turn into a war.
