I sugested you to read my post again. You didn't.. It was not upseting or offensive EVEN if you were aboriginal. If you're from the FYROM than I'll understand you completely.

Obviously you're too far from the subject as I'm far from knowing for sure if Algonquins were living only in Quebec.
But, if you (suppose non aboriginal) imagine-Iroquois pretend in the middle of Canada that you're Algonquin not knowing Anicinàpemowin language even., many would assume that you're just another mentally disordered native. This would be "drop in the sea" of "Macedonian" illness. They (FYROM) even put Vergina Sun as their flag and massively operated noses to look like Alex The Big.

Won't ever happen, Lazar - just wishful thinking and display of our endless love towards both Golden Horda and Ottomans... who are directly responsible for prolonged middle ages and today's misery in East Europe.
At least, Mongols did formally apologize - but I am missing that from Turks.
In my personal opinion (not that I'm taking sides) but what is the big deal if there is both a nation and ancient Greek province called Macedonia? Think of it as there being two Georgias( an independent nation that previously was a former Soviet republic and the other Georgia which is a state located in United States.) Like I said that's my personal opinion and besides there appears to be no dispute between Tblisi and Atlanta which are the respective capitals of each of the 'Georgias'.

If Vuk Karadzic took the central Serbian dialect or southern instead of western Serbian then the language would not be Serbo-Croatian but more Serbo-Macedonian.
Ethnicity in the Ottoman empire was different then now.
until 1830 Serbs and Romanians where Greeks according to the census. Guess why: Because everyone who was orthodox was Greek and everyone who was Muslim was Turk. and from the 1850s Bulgarians got their own church and everyone who was part of that church was Bulgarian.
