serbia caved in at the un and REFUSED to challenge the icj ruling or make any further legal challenge whatsover regarding kosovo.

for decades the govt. of serbia pretended kosovo did not exist.

look at them now.

every single situation, development, agreement that was ever met with rage by serbs.... was eventually met with such propaganda by serb leadership that those very same things that enraged serbs...became that wich they clinng to.

amazing how blind serbs can be at every single opportunity.

One could swear that serbs actually think this was there own idea.

Are you being naive? please can you explain to me why sudenly after the modification of the resolution in the UN that was passed about three month ago Serbia wants to talk with Kosova/o government? what happened to " we don't recognize them or we don't talk with terrorists " ??? did you ever ask yourself why this 360 degree turn from Serbia? I don't know but to me it would sound fishy.
(arti, 19 November 2010 22:17

Let’s look closely at Kosovo: does it have large amount of resources, water or minerals? – no; does it have sufficient arable land to maintain the population? – no; does it have industry? – no; does it have a large population? – yes.
You mean to suggest that after 12 years of not bending to US desires now Belgrade is “seeing the light” even though US/EU power is weakening? If you believe that then I you’re living in Narnia big time.
The UN compromise was a simple give and take on both sides. For the compromise Serbia got serious negotiations which is what it wanted – the US could NOT guarantee the vote on the original resolution would go its way in the UN and the damage to US prestige, or what’s left of it, would have been staggering. To recover from this loss would have been like climbing Mount Everest.
“we don't recognize them or we don't talk with terrorists” neither did the US with the Taliban, but low and behold they are facilitating these talks with the Kazai government. It’s called politics, mate. Wasn’t Colonel Gaddafi of Lybia called by various US administrations a supporter of terrorism? But look at him today, one of the US’s best buddies – get the picture?
Now look at the EU, unwinding by the day – Greece, Ireland then soon Portugal and Spain followed quickly France and Italy; all falling like dominoes. Now how much money is left in the kitty for Kosovo again???????? Not much! If you think financially 2010 was bad wait till 2011, 2012 up to 2015.
Why do you think the EU is pushing for the former republics of Yugo to trade with Belgrade as if they were still together? It cannot afford to prop them up. Basically, the smart people in these countries are afraid that the EU wants some form of Yugo back and to some extent they should be afraid, but not because of gluing Humpty Dumpty back together again, but that Belgrade will control it all.
The US is finished and the new power in Europe is Russia – like it or not but that’s the truth. Obama talks the talk but that’s only for domestic consumption. Look at David Cameron’s visit to Bejing – “in a carefully balanced tightrope walk before students at Peking University he spoke about human rights. Characteristically, his speech was heavily over-spun to the British media in advance.”

These Albanians talk as if they are in the “driver’s seat” and they have lots to negotiate with. They must be talking of a Kosovo on planet Mars.
Here is a bit of news for you – you have got nothing except BS. All refugees living in the United States of Windbags thinking that it’s still 1999 and Bill Clinton is President. Here is also some advice – he is not.

I hope Tadic keeps Jeremic as foreign minister even after he reshufles the government. He is a magnificent tool that Tadic uses to convince the Serbs that Kosovo is still Serbia. Once again Kosovo is not a UN member not because of Serbian diplomacy but because of Russian UN veto. That veto will be the reason that Kosovo will join Albania. The harder you press against Kosovo the closer you bring it to Albania.

You are a double talker little Vuk.
When UNMIK was governing Kosova and elections were called by SRSG, you still told K-Serbs not to vote, and now you are claiming that SRSG is the only authority who can call elections. Well, I am glad that you just prooved my point by saying that SRSG did not call th election, since he is powerless to do anything in Kosova, besides getting a hefty salary for hiding in northern Mitro.

After his meeting with Hague, Jeremić is scheduled to give a lecture the London School of Economics, It will be like this Serbia is not a land of milk and honey heck we do not even have milk in our stores. Every few months we have to go to the IMF ask for some spending money. We thought we could ask our rude Russian "friends" for loans but they riped us off. We even had to sell our things at fire sales prices to them. Serbs standard of leaving is dropping like a brick and poverty is rising in unrepresented levels other then that every thing is peachy.
