Why Nissan Leaf?!

Way cooler than that?

I was always against 3 tons of iron for transport of a single person, mostly. Despite I'm not ready for such a small car yet., I consider Nissan Leaf one of the coolest things happened around last 5 years..

My God drives that??

THANK YOU GOD!

Way cooler than that.., give me a brake!

Your "cool" is not cool as my cool, obviously. You chose a diamond to degrade., Nissan Leaf.

..Serbia has stolen form them.
(ben, 17 November 2010 16:04)

WHAT?! What should we return that was theirs? Sandzak? Rest of Bosnia? Serbian lands in Croatia? "Macedonia"? Kosovo? Only Montenegro (if cooperative) can exist in the nowdays borders as a second Serb state.. We can always "move the things" over there if we wanted to.

Firstly I don't understand why my Albanian compatriots jump to defend Bosnia from Serbia???

- Do you see any Bosniak coming here at B92 and defending Kosova???

- Did you had any Bosniaks fighting for Kosova in 1997-1999???

- We had thousands of Albanians fighting for Bosnia and Croatia but non of them came to give any help to us.

So why are you still defending them???

Secondly why are you jumping on Irinej??? He wants for his nation what we want for ours: to be united.

Now there is a huge difference in conceptualization of unification method between how Serbs find it appropriate and how we Albanians think it is correct and morally acceptable.

Serbs had to remove over 1 million Bosniaks and Croats so one day perhaps they could get their dreamland while we Albanians live compactly and in huge majority in ALL our lands since homo erectus times thus we need not to kick out anyone from his home.

But in principle Irinej is asking what we are asking for ourselves.

Now I don't want to be associated in any way with the idea of ethnic cleansing being OK but I think Serbs in Bosnia have the same right to live in Bosnia as much as they have the right to live united with Serbia.

The only thing that Serbs permanently forget is that that 'bridge' in Drina they destroyed by ethnically cleaning the people that use to live by the Drina river for centuries: Srebrenica in first place.

So if Irinej wants her nation united which in essence is a natural demand he should have the dignity to recognize the same to other nations and in this case to Bosniaks:

Serbia should give back to Bosnia the Sandzak region and Serbrenica and take her own lands in Bosnia.

This is the only durable solution in the Balkans.

Serbs should get what is theirs and others should get what Serbia has stolen form them.

ZMAJ, Please don't tar me with the religious brush - I have seen the light and am a devout atheist.

I say amen to that. LOL. For what was said above I bestow on thee the title of "Your Holiness"

Subscript- This is valid only for a temporary and unspecified amount of time. Not valid in the middle east or the Vatican. Avoid using it while in Istanbul. Side effects include anger by mobs, and increased level of self-importance, and in rare cases death. Keep away from children and religious nuts. Talk to you religious leader about "Your Holiness" title on your next visit.

don´t worry Irinej, they will, indeed they will be one.

time is on our side, and the K-albanians will have to adjust to the situation, too.

just a question of time.

The Serbian Orthodox Church, like all churches, should stay out of politics. I know that many churches/religions all have their faults like this; but it still definitely does not make it right. It only perpetuates problems that have existed over the centuries.

Let there be a referendum to sort this mess in BiH once and for all. Who the hell in their right mind gave the 'Muslims' rights in the first place. All of a sudden they think they own BiH, well I will tell you something right now, the Croats & Serbs of BiH who historically have somehow don't ask me how have always coinsided with one another because of the christian faith. It's time these 2 superpowers of the Balkans to decide themselves what they want to do in their own entities. The longer the Croats and Serbs argue with each other the stronger the Muslims get.

DimTuc

pre 13 godina

"The Drina River is not a border but a bridge that connects us. Although, in a way, we are one even today, God willing, we will soon really be one"

Actually, the Drina River is a border between the people of Serb majority living on its east bank, and people of Bosniak majority living on its west bank. The Serbs in Bosnia mostly live way west of there, in Banja Luka etc, except for a small pocket of Serb majority in East Herzegovian.

Oops!! I forgot all about those 3.5 years of vicious, unrelenting ethnic cleansing the Chetniks engaged in 1992-95, to get rid of the slight problem of the wrong people on the west side of the Drina. So now, true enough, as a result of the genocide this wonderful man of god can indeed speak this medieval talk of uniting the Serb nation on both sides of the Drina.

Wouldn't be the first time that war, mass killing and horific ethnic cleansing were blessed by self-appointed "representatives of god on earth." Often enough that is precisely their function.

With the likes of the average Serb we know how it is. Leave it to them and there are actually no Albanians in Albania or anywhere in the Balkans. They're just some poor souls who don't know their identity and thankfully the Serbs are there to remind them. Not only that but anyone who has done anything that is remotely good in Albania or for Albania and Albanians is not Albanian either. They're always some half-Serb, half Greek hybrid. Like Scanderbeg or Mother Teresa. I am grateful to read nonsense like this on a daily basis on B92. It is a strong and vivid reminder as to why our cause is right; and why we should keep away from this kind of average Serbs and vitriolic nonsense at all costs and by any means necessary. Numb-nuts like that cannot be brought back to a world where reason prevails. The more I read B92 the more I realize that Serbia has an over-aboundance of them.

I have to admit, danilo, that was one of yr funnier postings. and spot-on.

i go pretty far trying to show respect for religions and religious figures. but some of them really push the envelope. the serbian orthodox church has now come out squarely behind the milosevic/karadzic/mladic project. which is totally appropriate, since they always did support it, and who remembers the infamous Scorpions video (bless the warriors before they go into "battle" meaning mass murdering civilians, incl some women and children).

the serbian orthodox church officials should get on their knees and beg forgiveness for their support of genocide. instead, they keep promoting it.

not to mention their role in the latest belgrade riots, pushing violent homophobia and fostering lethal attacks on the cops.

if that's religion, count me out!

ciao.

I'm somewhat tired of this mistaken notion that a certain type of person or profession can become a politician. I'm also really amazed at the number of Americans who have a problem with an individual who has influence discussing politics unless they are specifically in political positions.
First of all, let us look at the American example of "Reverend Jessie Jackson." Clearly this is a man of religious distinction, yet he openly ran for political positions. One's beliefs and the conviction of one's beliefs have nothing to do with one's ability to effectively govern people. The notion of the seperation of church and state deals with the abstractions of both, and not individuals.
Secondly, again in America, we just recently witnessed two highly influential comedians, Stewart and Colbert, staging a mass scale, simultaneous cross country broadcasting of a political rally. Neither of these men are official politicians (we were all citizens first) yet they were allowed use their platform to mock what they disagree with and to promote what they do. It is their notoriety that offers them such a platform. As it is with Pope Benedict, who has been trying to offer political advice to various nations. As it has been with the British Royal family.
It's not very reasonable to claim amensty for one's favorite unoffical politician's rhetoric, while trying to silence the other side.
From people claiming to be American's, a place where we're all free to have our own political and religious opinions, it is both surprising and disheartening.
I may not agree with what is being said, but his audience does. Wanting something extra for one's followers or citizens is certainly not wrong -- Consider America's example of how American's have something extra, and who had to cover the spread -- but rather is both respected and the reasonable course of action.

Gajo,

we regard a half-Serb/half-Greek Đorđe Kastriotis or Kastriotić being Albanian Gjergj Kastrioti simply because he represented the Albanians of that time.

Precisely, like half-Slovak/half-Serb Aleksandar Petrovic is no one else, but Sándor Petöfi, the most known Hungarian poet and fierce Hungarian nationalist.

Otherwise look up there and decide, how "easy" is to tell apart, who is Greek, who is Serb and who is Albanian:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Athanasius_of_Mouzaki

"Greek Orthodox church located in Kastoria, Greece. It was built in 1386–87 by the house of Muzaka, a noble Albanian family". Notice the name of the city - "Kastoria", it's a Greek word by the way. But everything else is a total mix. And there were also Norse, Hun and Arab invaders, too - and I did not hold a candle to watch who did sleep with whom.

Genetically Europeans are a huge mixed bag... the ethnic background is being often decided by the brain, not by genetics.

Well, since you are encouraging the seperation of RS, my questions are:

Where are you going to be and what will you do dear patrijah if/when bosniacs and croats defend the borders of their homeland BiH?

Are you going to be on the first line of the front? Is your son, brother, daughter, going to fight? No? Anybody from your relatives?

Because neither GOD or St. Sava will, nor will vast majority of people of Republika Srpska or Serbia. They have been there, they have done that, it was not worth it.
(Balkanac, 15 November 2010 19:28) the funny thing is the Croats want to separate also in bosnia and they have asked for serbian support and backing and the Serbs will do that for their 3rd entity so you should maybe read more and learn whats going on because the bosniaks are on their own just like albanians are because the world support has dropped to 0 so the reality is RS is gone its independent and the croats will be getting their entity so its over so now the question is are the bosniaks(converted Serbs) ready to fight against the Serbs for their rights or the croats for theirs are the bosniaks ready to put their sons, daughters and mothers and fathers and relatives to fight against 2 nations that want nothing to do with you bosniaks ask your self that question and here is a couple of links that the croats asked the serbs f they will back them up

Genes - that means DNA studies, not archeology (Wilkes' work). An outfit in Switzerland - iGENEA - has made a study of European population genetics you might find interesting to google. (Kosovo was not included since it had not declared independence at the time of the study.) I don't know whether their results have been replicated, but at least it's a new approach, and their findings basically agree with previous archeological and anthropological evidence. What may be new is the evidence for just how mixed all of the nations of the Balkans (also: Europe, the world) are.

Gajo,

we regard a half-Serb/half-Greek Đorđe Kastriotis or Kastriotić being Albanian Gjergj Kastrioti simply because he represented the Albanians of that time.

What may be new is the evidence for just how mixed all of the nations of the Balkans (also: Europe, the world) are.

Gajo,

we regard a half-Serb/half-Greek Đorđe Kastriotis or Kastriotić being Albanian Gjergj Kastrioti simply because he represented the Albanians of that time.

Not the point is it?
You should critisize them all the same whether you think they have influence or not because you believe in your mantra, religion and politics don't mix.
BTW, the mufti has as much influence as the any other religious leader.
You are only using that excuse as a way out because you cannot bear to critisize your own.

God probably has bigger priorities these days then worrying about Serb (political) unity. It's a big, bad world out there with far worse problems than this. In the meantime, Serbs should just focus on doing the things that human beings can do to improve their living standards, like getting a good education, finding ways to build a strong economy and steering clear of war with her neighbors. A Serb with a good job, a decent income, plenty to eat, a comfortable home, access to quality healthcare and protected by strong human rights shouldn't care whether he/she lives in a country called Serbia, Bosnia or Montenegro.

Subscript- This is valid only for a temporary and unspecified amount of time. Not valid in the middle east or the Vatican. Avoid using it while in Istanbul. Side effects include anger by mobs, and increased level of self-importance, and in rare cases death. Keep away from children and religious nuts.

The Serbian Orthodox Church, like all churches, should stay out of politics. I know that many churches/religions all have their faults like this; but it still definitely does not make it right. It only perpetuates problems that have existed over the centuries.

We're the Gods, all of us.., and we have the powers to act in the manner of Gods. Abilities to change the environment, the nature, to create, to award or punish, to give or take lives are abilities of Gods.

Politics is using the God EVERYWHERE and the nucleus presentation of Christian Religion by Constantine was for political purposes, AND ONLY! BUT I cannot swallow critics on how I park my car at the moment you have 5 tons of garbage in the garden, as my neighbor..
