I would add that in 30 years, that will all happen within a minor province within either the EU or some variation thereof.

-- Yeah, roberto has a number of psychological hangups that make more than a few of us question his judgement. But he never really explains what he writes, so he's largely harmless.

mike -- remember when all that was coming out of yr mouth was nasty little put-downs? or i should say nasty long-winded personal attacks? all along hiding behind an -- dare i say it -- intellectual, "moderate" cover?

well, every so often, that nasty mouth comes right on thru. i suggest you watch that, take a (scary) look in the mirror, and decide what that propensity for personal attacks is really all about.

get it?

remember, just because yr good pals at b92 publish it, doesn't mean that it isn't trash.

So, let's see what is really going on here. tadic makes nicey-nice with Croatia (for the time being), continues his war (of words) ag. the people of kosova, but pushes for "talks" -- and continues the strategy of aggression ag. Bosnia. what a surprise? no, not at all. exactly predicted by sonia biserko, precisely at the time that kosova was gaining it's long-earned independence. she knows the serbian extremists, close-up and personal. surprise, surprise -- they've given up on their "holy" kosova (except perhaps the northern tip) despite all of the bellicose rhetoric.

who'd have guessed? their sights, actually long ago, were trained on bosnia. my beautiful bosnia. and tadic is just the latest in a very long line of serbian rulers who are determined, one way or another, to grab it. period.

And please don't play us with that multi-ethnicity crap. it's a major lie in serbia, but for RS is is just a sick joke-fest.

rs does not represent the serbs. rs represents mass murder and genocide. and how that can succeed, given the utter lack of spine of the rest of the world.

and we watch, and do nothing...

Lets face reality once and for all. This is how the western Balkans will look in 30 years. The following may not be what I would like to see , but I know the differnace between reality and fantasy:

RS- it will 100% join eventually with Serbia. "a house divided cannot stand". The overwhelming forces at work (internal - which by far is far more powerful than external) are splitting B&H apart. RS by its nature (whether justified or other) will gravititate to Serbia and eventually join. The political discourse , the emotions and rationale all point to this end.

Kosovo- as far as Serbia is concerned it is gone. It is independant and is not now or in the foreseeable future part of Serbia. The same justification applied to RS also applies here. The OVERWHELMING forces at work internally will never accept Serbian sovereignty. There is a greater chance of RS voting to join the Muslim Federation in B&H than Kosovo rejoining Serbia. The only real thing serbia can succesfully negotiate is the status of their historical and cultural monuments. It will problably mirror some form of "special/diplomatic" status much like where Jordon is nominally responsible for the Muslim Holy sites in Jerusalem.

Croatia - for all those who dream of a Greater Serbia with parts of Croatia - keep dreaming. Krajina was an unrealistic dream based on nothing more than myth and legend. It is gone. It is not on ANY political radar , on ANY genuine discourse or agenda. The EU is happy with the way Croatia is handling the returnees otherwise it would have conditioned it on the move towards EU intergration. Despite what the extremists here think , Croatia is not full of goose stepping Ustasha loving fascists. They are a democratic country that are NATO members and on the verge of EU membership. They have Serbian parties serving in the governing coalition and are seen as a very stablalising factor in the region.

The sooner everyone accepts this reality ( we may not like this reality but it is REALITY) the sooner progress can be made and all peoples in the region can finally move on.

Why would Dodik invite Tadic to his party? How much was the bribe from the eu?

Wow, good morning, Lenard, nice to see that you had a restful weekend, and are in a good mood to start the week. Actually, I am sickened when I read repetitive, hateful garbage from miserable individuals like yourself. STOP THE HATE! Work to get along with people you disagree with. Spewing vitriol at them will do nothing but worsen any situation. Now, go back under your rock, please. To my misfortune, yours was the first comment I read today - although, I haven't gotten to the Albanian comments yet, so yours might be mild.

RS parliament speaker Igor Radojičić, who will be renominated for the post, has said that beside Tadić, a dozen ambassadors accredited to Bosnia-Herzegovina will also attend the session. Ya rite as if any one will be attending a quasi make believe Srpska entity they should have their heads examined. Especially on the horrendous criminality it was responsible for and of its convicted criminal leaders that Dodo is so famously following in their vile evil criminal footsteps.

they all attended already i guess you albanians dont know yet lol but anyway congrats to dokic and the RS and all the people in the new country of RS. and Next the third croat entity.
