They should ship out ASAP, next mission should be in Sandzak.

Koso, you are one of the reason, why Balkan never gets peace

It matters not what we think.
As long as 1244 is in force according to UNSC, Unmik is Kosovos God, father and master. Period.

As long as you believe it, that is all that matters. Now lay your little head down and have sweet dreams.

The Kosovo Albanians can't form their own government and they can't abide UNMIK who is keeping the peace for them. It sounds like the Albanians there just don't like written laws. Maybe they are waiting for Sharia to run their affairs or maybe Albania under a Greater Albania.

So the powerful government of the independent dream state of Kosovo doesn't even want to cooperate with UNMIK any more, which is the resposible body for it? Interesting.

Maybe time for all the donors to stop the money flow, to bring them to reason again?

What makes them think they can call the shots now. These Pristina talking heads remind me of a barking dog with no teeth, lots of noise but harmless. To be ignored.

Hmmmm. Maybe the fact that the Prishtina talking heads live in Kosova, unlike Unmik, you, and 90% of the Serbian commentators here. Your comments are theory based, ours are reality based.

RUSMIK is justifying its existence in the north by facilitating disturbances, nothing else. If UN wants peace in Kosova it has to remove the last obstacle, RUSMIK.

Some interesting facts came out at the G20 meeting hosted by the South Koreans. They are the only country to have gone from 3rd world to 1st world economic status in one generation. And they did it by going their own way, against international advice, when they thought it important. On the basis of their experience, the IMF is going to start allowing poor countries have more say in their own development. Perhaps it is only healthy that the Albanians are beginning to reject UNMIK interference. There are limits to being cooperative. The UN favors returns by Serbs to the south, where they can expect to have a house built for them, and protection provided against stone-throwers, but Albanians cannot return to rebuild their houses, using their own money?

An aside: the particular example cited in the article on So. Korean stubbornness was a cross-country highway that international agencies didn't think they needed, but that the Koreans built anyway. It reminded me of the Albanian national highway that they, too, couldn't get subsidized international funding for, but had to take out loans from commercial banks for. Berisha's been around long enough to have some self-confidence about deciding what the country needs, no wonder he brags about how much money that highway has already made. (We'll all learn about what it cost, someday, I suppose.)

The US/EU/NATO took charge of KiM in 1999, not the Albanians. What makes them think they can call the shots now. These Pristina talking heads remind me of a barking dog with no teeth, lots of noise but harmless. To be ignored.

I thought it was UNMIK and KFOR.
I get it it, you must have heard Zanier yesterday when he said that UNMIK is not governing Kosova, even in the north is having trouble. Otherwise no one gives a hoot about UNMIK.
By the way, Vlora did a damn good job and made Vuk look foolish.

Sorry, Vlora, but you do not make the rules regarding what will be negotiated between the EU and Belgrade regarding KiM. You are not in charge. The US/EU/NATO took charge of KiM in 1999, not the Albanians. What makes them think they can call the shots now. "Kosovo's long-term stability and prosperity are inextricably tied to the stability and prosperity of its neighbors"

In other words: Kosovo is a non-functional failed attempt to create a state. Give it independence but without any means of survival without hand outs.
