Some Serbs ready for Kosovo elections

Boycotting elections has done wonders for Serbs.

With their participation Serbs give these votes a touch of seriousity and legitimacy. That's a mistake under those conditions. It will weaken Serb legitime interests.

You are very right. However the minority of Serbs that are still left in Kosovo that decide to vote are only doing it because they don't know where to turn too.

But it is the ones occupying Beograd that turned their backs on the Serbs in Kosovo south of the Ibar. When the ones that are responsable for making Serbia weak in every aspect for their own personal interests and ideas. Our worst mistake is the best the occupiers of our southern province could hope for. And we are doing it.

It is really up to us if we continue to let this happen.

Will anyone open their eyes? Clearly alot more at stake than history and national pride.



Oh well, if we keep ignoring it at least the Kalbos aren't eating off it either..its much worse for them.

It is horrible english.Never knew that WSJ hired a Serb from Kralevo to work for prestigious newspaper.

in Albanians elections very carefully.Serbia as a sovereign Country has a right to expect of its citizens to obey the ban of participating in Kosovo Albanians elections
Before I go any further I should give some evidence why is a ban legal and right.Case in point is USA ban on USA citizens traveling to Cuba.
USA Government made that decision based on their judgment alone,what is in the best interest of USA in disregard to the wishes of International community.
However that decision was legal but not very popular by
international community.So
Serbia does has right to tell its citizens not to participate in this Kosovo Albanians elections based on
their National interest.Kosovo
Serbs can reject request of Serbian Government not to vote
but they can lose their Serbian citizenship rights and privilages.I find it hard to understand what Kosovo Serb can get more from Kosovo
Albanians then from their own country Serbia.
