If you read the article properly, you'd see that LDP and are against regionalisation and G17+ are strongly for it. Presumably they can't both be totally out of step with the Serbian electorate.

As far as I'm concerned, LDP's postion on this is nonsensical and shows that they'd rather oppose the government than do the right thing, whatever the issue. Liberal opinion needs an alternative to these clowns.

Well you see readers the Liberals in Serbia only want decentralization if its against Serbian interests.

It is quite alright for Vojvodina to run its own course but everything else must remain below Belgrade. It is acceptable to give that part of Serbia it's own parliament, prime minister ect., but when other parts of Serbia want national institutions from Belgrade relocated, it's populism?

The likes of LDP & G17 were established to work in complete parallel to what most Serbs think. These are clear installations by a foreign power working for foreign interests.

It is nice to be acceptable and give everybody a chance but even though democracy is necessary it is very dangerous. Do not trust these types they are bitter do not care about where they live and are looking out in other peoples interests for their sake, not ours.

Decentralization is better for Serbia!
At the moment everything is in Belgrade, all the money is going ther/the jobs are there etc.
If there is decentralization some institutions will go to Nis/kragujevac/Novi sad and other cities and so the money of Nis will stay in Nis and not go to Belgrade. Another positive thing is that way there will be more jobs in other cities across serbia and so they will not move to Belgrade and depopulate Serbia like what's happening now.

Lets see if the decentralization process will begin soon.

Actually Zoran if they did move to Pristina I think they would probably do pretty well in Kosovo elections, although think that says more about the political parties in Pristina than anything else.

The issue is a tricky one though because of course Pesic is right that this is Dinkic's political project in expanding G17's voter base to more rural areas.

On the other hand it is true that Serbia is Belgrade centric. Everything revolves around the capital and for sake of fairness and for Belgrade itself which is so overcrowded there must be a viable policy of investing in the regions to ensure that there are jobs throughout the country.

Any chance of moving LDP's HQ to Pristina? They will be warmly welcomed and could even participate in the parallel elections being organised by ethnic Albanians.
