Its for this reason, people who post anti-anyone posts annoy me. Its usually the innocent people in every country that suffer in the name of false retribution.

Colin, I ask you too to point out what is anti anything in my post.
I was stating facts that like I said, in this PC world truth has no place.
So please feel free to let me know what exactly did I say that is not true and go with that, instead of trying to silence me.

Where did I say I want retribution?

I remember one of Misha Glenny's books describing how Vukovar was resettled with Serbs & Croats after WW2 who both fought against each other (not partisans) during WW2......perhaps this goes some way in explaining the horror committed by both sides during the war?

Peggy,

I also think your comments on this story are pretty unhelpful.

I think the recent developments since Josipovic has become President of Croatia have been excellent for the development of peace in the region.

Both Presidents apologised for events on that day in Vukovar.

All I want is to know my family is safe. For people like yourself to demand retribution for every wrongdoing in history is pretty shallow - your not living there to deal with the repercussions.

PS - if you found this offensive , good. No doubt you will then appreciate how others are offended by your own dim wittted ignorance.

Yes I know that in this politically correct world truth has no place.

If you disagree with something I have stated then do correct me and argue with facts. If you cannot dispute what I have said then don't call me names because the old saying of don't shoot the messenger is still valid.

You sound like those Islamic extremists. They are willing to kill you for telling the truth if the truth offends them.
If you feel offended by the truth then that's your problem not mine, but calling me names will not change the truth you know.

So I invite you to dispute what I say with facts instead of insults.

@Peggy,

I just read your racist and bigoted rant against Croatians. All the Serbians AND Croatians that I have met are nothing like you describe (and for that matter nothing like you).Just good decent people who love their families want to live in peace and get on with life. Wonderfull people all of them. As a matter of fact , I see more hatred and ingorance being spewed by extremists like yourself on this site than in any actual real life interaction - thankfully.

But then again, xenophobes and racists like yourself dont have the courage to actually show your true colours and act like that in public. Like all cowards you find courage in behind the cloak of anonimity.

Macut, it's time to bury that hatred of yours. Atrocities happened on all sides, yes, the Croatians also committed them. It is time to reconcile, and move forward. Do not leave your hatreds and prejudices to your children as an inheritance. Leave for them a future that does not perpetuate historic animosities and revenges.

Unfortunately that is not possible for Croatians.
They have been passing their hatred for a few generations now and will continue to.
Serbs on the other hand have tried to make peace and forgive them which is hard because Croatians have a lot to be ashamed of and forgiven for.

During WW2 even with all the hatred still going on and Ustashe running wild killing Serbs, most Serbs joined the Partisans for the sake of unity and brotherhood. We can safely say that most Croatians did not, some but most did not.

Yet, the Serbs went on trying to live in peace under "brotherhood and unity" banner which was a complete waste of time and farce, because they were being killed off again under the "U" symbol.

There is no way Croatians are going to put aside their hatred long enough for new generations to start clean.
