Every day you reject Belgrade as your capital is a crime.
(trudsaam, 5 November 2010 22:33)

In this case I am proud to be a criminal. What can you do about that?

Internation LAW. UN RES. 1244.
Please spare me the time and hold yourself back from mentioning the ICJ, we all know that it is not illegal to declare independance, I can declare myself as independant from my state but does it really mean I am a country of my own?
(trudsaam, 6 November 2010 13:29)

No, that’s not true. It can very well be illegal to declare independence. You have to specify the law under which you make that determination and then analyze what that law says.

The only thing that we all know is that a declaration of independence declared by a specific entity (Kosovo) on a specific date (18 Feb 2008) is not illegal under a specific law (international law).

So, now that you clarified that law to use for the analysis, let's go back to your original post “Every day you reject Belgrade as your capital is a crime”.

Something is a crime if there is a law that makes it a crime. Albanians in Kosovo are rejecting Belgrade as capital, because their constitution says that the capital is Pristina. And their constitution has as legal basis Kosovo’s declaration of independence, which as you said was not illegal under internationa law. So, since rejecting Belgrade as capital has a legal basis under international law (according to the ICJ), how can that be illegal under international law (according to you) ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are only two options to explain that: (i) ICJ is wrong; (ii) you are wrong. But you can't both be correct. Let us know which one is your option (i) or (ii).

ICJ proved nothing, only the Serbo-Albs and the USA are stuck on that frieght train heading to nowhere. Notice how the ICJ verdict did NOT directly cause a string of recognitions, or non-recognitions?
(trudsaam, 6 November 2010 13:29)

The ICJ established the legal basis under international law for Kosovo’s declaration of independence. As for de-facto, Kosovo has been independent from Serbia for at least 10-years now. The problem was the de-jure part which was clarified by the ICJ thanks to Vuk. I’m sure Albanians in Kosovo are still thanking Vuk about that.

Some court eh... lol Reminds me of the other kangaroo court the West setup, but failed miserably.

“We are not especially pleased with the level of security in the north, but the north is not the only problem. There is much more crime in Priština and in other parts of Kosovo and Metohija. It’s important for EULEX to focus on crime in a well-balanced approach and I’m sure that they will in that sense have good cooperation with political structures, but also with police stations in northern Kosovo,” the state secretary concluded. "

Hey, all those pro-Albanian posters who keep posting about the lawless north!

The man just said that "There is MUCH MORE CRIME in Priština and in other parts of Kosovo and Metohija." !!!! How do you like them apples dearies?

Oli,

considering you work from Belgrade how would you know how much crime and instability exists in the northern part of Kosovo? You lose all credibility with your statements....per capita of crime is triple if not higher in the north.

Maybe your little Eulex wannabe that trolls these forums could produce some facts...or back that one death a day in Peja claims.
