What are you talking about? Republika Srpska is "The Republic of Serbs" duhh...Serbians in Belgrade are performing their obligation by supporting RS.

Rules apply to all or non: or Kosovo and RS. Or none of both.

And before anyone here starts attacking me personally: no I am not a Serb. I am from Western Europe (from a state, not a province).
(Ron, 5 November 2010 03:54)

Well exept for the fact that Serbia screams and yells about others interfering in its own internal matters. Now when Serbia interferes in other countries internal matters, then why shouldn't others interfere in Serbia's?

Also Ron I am very hurt by your province comment. Pfffff, gimme a break dude. Who give a damn what you call it. Whatever floats your bot dude.

Like the US recognizing illegal Kosovo independence?

In theory yes, but in reality it does not work like that. As Bosnia is not a unified country but has 3 entities pulling and pushing against one another Sarajevo is only best described as a capital in theory. It obvious that Sarajevo would have recognised Kosovo except RS would have brought down Bosnia and this shows you that it’s a country living on the edge all the time. Jeremic consults RS before heading off to Sarajevo and the rest is just “rubber stamping” by a federal Parliament. It is now accepted that Bosnia is the most expensive country to run in Europe – I’ve lost track of the number of Parliaments and local councils in existence and all of this costs money to run.

RS does not need to be a player on the international scene because Serbia looks after its interests.

Sarajevo is the Muslim capital. The city is almost purely Muslim, with a tiny percentage of Croats. It is very corrupt and in deep debt and full of mosques every several yards.

The capital of Kosovo was and is Belgrade not Pristina but take a look at how things have turned out.
Banja Luka is the capital for Serbs and the Russians too seem to agree.

its time for republica srpska to be independent as soon as possible and join serbia because that is fair and its popu;ation is 96% serbs so thats it.and is that bridge finished that connects RS to serbia?

Indeed, RS does need to be independent but not join Serbia. The Serbs of RS don't deserve the government we have in Serbia or any subsequent government of that nature.
RS has far better leaders than Serbia can produce and all that would happen by joining is RS being dictated to by Belgrade and the sellouts there.

If Dodik could become president of Serbia or someone like him then yes, go for it.

Lenard

(headed by Dodik) and Serb Democratic Party on respect of Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity is very important for Serbia, and it is grateful for that decision, Jeremić said. Why are you not supporting the country of Bosnia sovereignty and territorial integrity Jeremić and the majority of the population of Bosnia Republic. Instead of the Srpska that was founded by over 90% of the war criminals being Serbian indicted by international court. Milorad Dodik is no better then his Serbian war criminal predecessors by his actions and statements sooner or later he will plunge the country of Bosnia in to a war! Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić by supporting likes of Dodo and a Srpska entity built on horrendous war criminality likes not seen in Europe since WW 2. Or will it be more of the blind leading the blind watch out for the cliff.

I've visited Banja Luka and it is indeed a beautiful city. But, regardless of its tourist attractions, Banja Luka is not the capital of an independent country; it is merely the seat of government of an entity that remain part of Bosnia. As an entity, Republika Srpska is not a sovereign state and as such the RS cannot be an independent actor in international diplomacy. If Serbia's foreign minister has diplomatic business to transact -- about Kosovo or any other issues -- he needs to discuss it with his counterparts at Bosnia-Herzegovina's foreign ministry in Sarajevo.

The fact that you even have to mention that demonstrates that BiH is a disfunctional "state". Let me remind you that the capital of Republika Srpska is Banja Luka. Have you ever been there? It is a beautiful city.

Marco,

Sarajevo may be your Capital City, but it's surely not Jeremic's and RS'. Remember it wasn't the Serb ethnicity that split the former Yugoslavia. Anyways, Bosnia belongs to Serbians and Croations.

I think Marco is the one who is clearly confused!
Bosnia is a dead entity, and will not last.
the capital of Republika Srpska is Banja Luka.

Serbs will not be ruled over by Muslim fundamentalists. Banja Luka is the only real and credible Capital that represents the rights and views of the Serbian people!
