NATO seeks Russia's help over Afghanistan

Like in -99, targeting the southern slavs for a new Drang nach osten only to fail their aims to encircle Russia and endless bloody wars for israel in the middle east, NATO is looking for another raison d'etre. If Russia, their main target since ww2, don´t give them that, they will vanish. Let´s hope that our formidable chess playing brother makes the right desicion...

Absolutely not. If I was Russian president I would tell NATO and US where to stick it. They’re fighting the very same terrorists they supported and armed to fight and kill Russians. How embarrassing for the west to even ask Russians for help.

I will stick with American military over Russian at any given time.
You can have your Russian high tech military.
Russian military is good for growing potatoes.They were unable to feed 250 soldiers in Kosova, and in time they pulled them out.
I bought an AK-47 from a russian soldier for 150 DM at that time, right at Lozica Bridge where they were living in tents, rather than a real milittary base.

Question. Why not by a crappy M16 then, and why buy the world's best weapon? Perhaps you didn't know that the AK series is infact 100% Russian, or were all those potatoes growing out of your ears confusing you?
Also it would seem that Russia (as USSR) might end up better in Afghanistan that US/NATO alliance. Speculation of course. The States has time to pull out with their tail between their legs as did USSR. Remember, that after USSR pulled out like a premature teenager unable to complete the task at hand, it started to disolve. I wonder if the same would happen to an indebted well beyond any imaginable level US. Speculation again.
