Ataman,
milk in Serbia in summer was slightly more expensive than in Bosnia.
Anyways, in Bosnia there are cheap milk producers, and also in Serbia they have Niska Mlekara, or Sabacka mlekara who sell at low prices.

Milk prices in Bulgaria, last time i checked (in october) were higher (at about 1euro/litter), while in Greece they are rocketing again at 1.30 euros/litter after a short-term war against the mafia when it reached 1 euro/litter.

So basically now we have
Greece>Hungary (yes i was there as well)>Bulgaria>Serbia>BiH

The Swiss

Down to the Dinar: I was very surprised to learn, milk is so expensive in Serbia - costing twice as much as in Slovakia or Czech Republic.

In general, I would not stop at Serbia, I would look at the territory of entire ex-YU and also Hungary. I know the prices - it looks for me, there is INDEED a grand conspiracy of certain food mafiosi, often across the borders.

And also some unfair business practices of Tetra (the company having a world-wide monopoly on packaging) are a possibility.

Hence, the milk prices are twice as high as in Slovakia, Czech Republic or even USA.

A victory for common sense, pluralism and ordinary Serbians tired of monpolistic practice leading to them being screwed by both foreign and domestic businessmen.
