Al Qaeda claims attack on Baghdad church

Funerals have taken place for some of the Christian worshipers killed in one of the bloodiest attack on Iraq’s Christian minority in seven years.

Al Qaeda says it was behind the attack but some Iraqis believe the blame lies elsewhere.

“I blame the government, the world must know, the government we have is one that America installed. Thank you Bush, thank you Obama. Thank you USA!”, said one man in a Baghdad street.

No surprises here. Would last week's attempted attacks on western planes and some synagogues somewhere in the US have anything to do with US mid-term elections? Certainly any
planned attack uncovered before the elections could have raised Obama's standing with the electorate(tough on terrorism).

The Al Qaeda brand(US invention) is given more credit that is due.Iran and Yemen could peobably be the next hot points in US geopolitical games.
