really, ban ki moon is the poster boy for impotence.

you will notice however, that in as much as he complained.."warned"..about it, he did not and could not "warn" of illegal, untrue, or unwarranted statements by either kosovo officials or the media. So whats he really afraid of?

(winston, 1 November 2010 15:36) Whether you say dialogue, talks, negotiations, it is all interchangeable. The problem is in that when you read "negotiations" you actually read "status negotiations".
You drop that assertion and I don't think anyone will disagree with the the interchange of terms.

In his regular quarterly report that was distributed to ambassadors of the UN Security Council member states last weekend, Ban Ki-moon offered the world organization's support in the negotiation process that will be carried out under EU supervision , , , I see the word negotiation, not talks, used by Mr. Ki-moon, much to the chagrin of the Albanci here, who insist that there will be talks, not negotiations. What does Belgrade and Pristina have to talk about? Like I have said before, talks are what I have with my friends in a kafana. In any case, I see the negotiation process as very, very long, with few minor achievements along the way. Serbia has nothing to gain by rushing negotiations, as the EU accession process will be quite dragged out. There is a possibility, that if Albania gets visa-free travel to the EU, half of Kosovo Albanians will leave anyway, and that black hole there will become an abyss.

Ban warned that "Kosovo officials and media" are campaigning against the presence of UNMIK in the north of Kosovo, which puts UN staff in jeopardy.

Thanks Ban-ki-Moon for clearing the air for all those that Kosova is governed by UNMIK. So, its only a hand full on north Mitro. Checked UNMIK web site and was unable to find UNMIK Police in it. I wonder where they are hiding? By the way, for those that ask for UNMIK, check the list of countries that recognized UNMIK travel documents. Serbia was not one of them, but after the CDI , Serbia said that only UNMIK documents are valid!? Try to figure Serbs out!!!
