These old dogs like Ilic stand to lose a lot because of their grip on monopolies, and corruption. Transparency to them is to be avoided like sitting with wet hair next to an air conditioner.

And yet Serbia needs a strong opposition, so what do you say about that?

Do you honestly think that the west has transparency? Politicaians are corrupt world wide and I don't think that Tadic has the answers.
I am not saying that it OK to have corrupt politicians but voting on the basis of their honesty is not going to work. None of them are.

Pay attention to their policies, Kosovo being the major one.

Ilic, will this fossil ever go away? People like him, and I am sorry to say there are enough of them in Serbia, the older Tito/Milosevic generations, are still trying to cling to the old socialist days, when they had complete control of everything, yet isolated Serbia from everything also. There is no way the younger Serbian citizens will go back to that. Serbia's future is with the EU and West. It does not necessarily need to be a member of that club, but it certainly must change and operate its society as a truly democratic, free and open society.
