Dated April 1943, alludes to a trip that Franz Rademacher, head of the Foreign Ministry's so-called Jewish desk, made to Belgrade in October 1941 to help organize the extermination of Jews in Eastern Europe. Conze says the document includes details of Rademacher's travel expenses and that the purpose of his journey is described in a hand-scribbled note as the "liquidation of Jews in Belgrade."

Those were Serbian citizens being exterminated by the Germany Nazi machine, let us not EVER forget. And here we are today with another set of German politicans telling Serbia what it need to do regarding it's own land, KOSOVO. Germany has been and continues to be the most destructive force Europe has ever seen, conducting a true GENOCIDE of Jews and Slavic peoples. History has a way of repeating itself as Germany continues unabated in it's efforst to undermine Serbia and promote it's albanian allies of WW2.

Dude, haven’t you learned yet that progress is achieved by looking forward, not backwards (like Serbia does by basing policies on centuries-old battles and crazy stuff things like the above). If people based their policies on what you are describing, Germany would again be at war with France and Russia, and Germans did worse things in France and Russia than they did in Serbia. But all these countries chose to look forward, and Germany and France started the successful European project that finally brought long lasting peace to the European continent. On the other hand Germany is one of the Russia strongest supporters in the EU.

Now, if Serbia wants to act based on events of WW2 or medieval times, by all means it’s free to do so, but it can’t expect the EU to accept that as being in accordance with European values.

Who do you think will be the first government official in Serbia to ask partition of Serbia's "Holy Land"?

Tadic already did it in a cowardly fashion. Spoke once; doesn't have the courage to speak again.

German Ambassador Wolfram Maas says recognizing Kosovo is not a condition for Serbia's EU integration.
"It must be said openly that good neighborly cooperation in the region is one of the important elements envisaged by the Copenhagen criteria," he told Novi Sad daily Dnevnik.
"This condition must be met by all states that aplly to be a member of the European family," said he.

So basically recognizing Kosovo is not a condition but by not recognizing you are breaking one of the major conditions.Good neighborly cooperation. For 22 members of EU Kosovo is Serbia's neighbor. And as it stands now the relations are bad. No UN seat for Kosovo no EU membership for Serbia. I want to ask the Serb posters: Who do you think will be the first government official in Serbia to ask partition of Serbia's "Holy Land"?
