A note to b92 editors. Those killed were paramilitaries and prisoners of war, not civilians. Please correct forthwith.

"The court council confirmed in the verdict that no civilians were killed in Ovcara, but that prisoners of war were in question, that were brought in from Vukovar’s hospital..."

"The three were tried over the massacre of nearly 200 Croatian paramilitaries captured during the siege of Vukovar by Yugoslav troops and Serb forces."

I'm shocked that B92 could make such a obvious mistake.

I lay awake at night feeling sorry for the croatian paramilitaries (HOS, neo Ustasa) killed at Ovčara. It really bothers me. Za Dom Spremeni (stiff arm salut included).

I don't see how Belgrade could have accepted a deadline on Mladic simply in return for the start of the accession process and the emasculation their UNGA vote. That would be a pretty poor deal. I serious doubt they are that stupid (though it is possible they are) and please note that the silence coming from Brussels and EU heavyweights is deafening (save the usual nobody serbophobes like Pack & Kacin).

The Serbs should prevent his arrest to stay out of the EU. Wanting the EU compromises Serbia in many ways. And it will not be a cure-all in the least to be in the EU.
Romania and Bulgaria are having financial problems - its citizens are going to EU countries for lowly jobs - fieldwork, janitors, etc.
Recently some Romanian children were found working as slaves in England in freezing weather without proper clothing.

EU won't treat each country equally. The bigger, more western ones will have control and the smaller, more eastern ones will be bossed around.

Personally, I would put a few demands on the EU, also. Like bring the KLA terrorists to the Hague, too, and not just Haradinaj. And while you're at it, throw in some more Croat generals and politicians, and definitely some more Bosnian Muslims.

You are demanding EU? Who are you again?

No deadline for Serbia to hand Mladic over to the Hague, how could there be? I do have one suggestion, though, how about every single EU talking head stop reiterating the importance of capturing Mladic on a daily basis? I think Belgrade gets it. Of course there's no deadline to capture Ratko as well as there's no deadline to join the EU .

When are you Albos going to come up with something original? The EU has no more MONEY. Even your friends the Croats have been asking “give us a date” and the most recent response was “perhaps this time next year”.
The EU has run out of cash and whatever money is available they are using to fill that bottomless pit called Kosovo.
Anyway Ratko is in Belgrade drinking coffee at his favorite café and living well. Oh, about 80% of Serbs say they would never give up Ratko. How many would do the same for your Albo leadership if they subjected your lot to a decade of sanctions?
