Afghan President Hamid Karzai says his office receives large amounts of cash in bags from Iran, VOA reports.

the fact that Karzai has no qualms about publicly declaring that he accepted payoffs from both sides who are mortal enemies of each other shows clearly what kind of character he is. I hope the Yankees get played out in the end game! Vietnam revisited!

President Karzai says the money is paid because the Iranians want good relations with Afghanistan. He says the Americans also give him cash.
"The United States is doing the same thing. They are providing cash to some of our offices. If you would like to have the details, we will give you that too. And it does give bags of money, yes, yes it does."

Somehow i find it hard to believe that Karzai is bribed by Ahmadinejad.Why should the Iranians bribe a US stooge?
On the other hand,it's well documented that money flows from the Pentagon to Kabul. Both the donor and the recipients are guilty of the crime of corruption.
The money from Kabul then probably flows to Swiss banks and therefore they are also complicit in the crime. How much cash then flows back to Washington as kickbacks is unknown, but I suspect it does happen.
Neither Kabul nor Washington are beacons of honesty.
