Romanian children working on UK farm

Seven Romanian children between the ages of nine and 16 have been found working in a field in Worcestershire.

It's not UKs fault for people coming here and work illegally.
Some rogue farmer had taken the opportunity and used these kids.
I bet you he will get a hefty fine or even prosecuted.

The UK Govt with its immigration policies has made it abundantly clear that big business comes first and it couldn't give a rats ass about how many qualifications, skills and experience its own people have, you are going to be replaced if johny foreigner can do it cheaper.

I don't think anybody should be surprised by the news.The uk along with other EU countries has along history not only exploiting immigrants but treating them as modern slaves.

What about the Chinese cockle-pickers suffocated to death en route to UK from Holland?It suffices to say that cockle picking in Morcambe bay fetches 11p/hour.

What about the Latvian fruit pickers earning 75p/hour and sleeping in a barn en masse with no washing or sanitation facilities?

I am afraid both immigrant children and adults are pawns in the EU neo-liberal logic where profit is the one and only concern.
