[13] No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

“Symbolically those are ‘ten European commandments for 2011’ that should be fulfilled in order for us to receive candidate status and what’s more important to begin negotiations for EU entry,” the deputy PM stressed.

EU thinks they are God. Ten commandments???
Who is going to play the role of Moses?

If you've been in Europe you can see with your own eyes that people live better in most other West European nations than in Serbia. Why the Serbia has one of the smallest earning per capita only 320 Euros per month. Also the legal system and administration and almost anything else functions better in those states than in Serbia. Serbia as most other former communist countries have suffered severely under a bad system. Now the system has to be improved and I see no better way then to join EU as fast as possible. Also for the peace. Serbia has suffered enough through its history and should try to do everything possible to live in peace with its neighbors and the rest of Europe.

The French appear to be having trouble following the "commandments" of the EU. Actually, from Madrid to Warsaw and from Dublin to Athens the people are having trouble following orders from Brussels. Serbia should not be anxious to join this failing organization or at least negotiate on the premise these bankrupt losers might need you more than you need them. Act like a proud nation instead of a groveling colony and you might be surprised at the respect you get.
