UNMIK chief in Kosovo Lamberto Zannier has assessed that the dialogue between the Serbian authorities and interim institutions in Priština is still far away.
"Only 70 out of 192 UN member states have so far recognized the unilateral act of interim institutions of self-government in Priština"
The "only" is very interesting here. I assume they know a lot of other cases where other countries declaring independence were recognized by much more than 70 countries within 3 years of independence, so of course in Kosovo's cases being recognized by "only" 70 is much smaller a number than what other countries achieved in 3 years !
Zannier has been hybrinating since Feb. 17 2008. Every once in the while he comes out of the cave for a second and than he goes back in for a deeo and long sleep.

i don't want to be negativ but they should be very careful:it reminds us their attitude during the pre war period,and we all do know how it finished!Calls like this,when serbia has not done the minimum of the minimum for the suffering they have imposed to kosovo,will only lead to exasperation and radicalisation,just as it did yesterday!
just go on like that,zannier and co ,and you will be very surprised of the result of your actions...v
