Sounds like the beginings of a NATO joint training base in Serbia. They built or upgraded several bases in Bulgaria. Well sounds like more opportunities for folks seeking employment.

How do you equate "pacify" to "friendship"?

To pacify is to restore calm or to establish peace.

Extending a hand of friendship is one way to achieve this. Serbs have tried that for a very long time (centureis, according to one of your own).

I belive the answer was adequate. How would you interpret it then?
