Kacin, take a look at CNN, MSNBC, POLITICO.COM, HUFFINGTON POST, to name a few, in the USA, the beacon of democracy, and they are all left-leaning Obama foot soldiers. Biased media exists everywhere, in every country. What next will this Spiteful Slovene find wrong with Serbia, that their Burek, in general, is too greasy? I have no respect for anything this low-level Eurocrat says.

What, now the Slovenians don't like Serbia either?

I think it is mostly the slovene 'intelligentsia' who have always looked down their noses at their southern neighbors. The political class loves having blowhards such as Kacin as otherwise no-one would report any of this stuff and they would be forgotten.

OTOH, Gorenje is building a big fat factory in Serbia rather than Slovenia. At some point people such as Kacin will realize that they are at best hypocritical. Probably not.

As for the need for reforms, why is this an issue for Kacin? The Serbs know it and will get around to dealing with it but it seems he is trying to keep himself in the headlines with an completely unworthy story.

Has anyone said that Serbia doesn't have problems or doesn't need to reform? No. The smaller they are, the more puffed up they become. Sad really because Slovenia is only a tiny part of the EU and its only ace card it uses to blackmail its neighbors is that it is in the EU and they aren't and even then, it looses this ace card (effective veto on accession of non eu states) when Lisbon comes in to effect.
