If you borrow hundreds of millions from the IMF you better obey their demands. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that you cannot do what you want with other people's money.

Also, black hole anyone?

The US presses are running 24/7 printing more and more “economic stimulus”. I’d say that by early next year the US dollar will be used to wallpaper lounge rooms. Who do you think owns the US mate??? The US citizen now owes 22 Trillion and rising every minute, hour and day. When you guys start paying off this debt there will be half of your schools and hospitals closed and I will not even talking about your military – they are too busy running out of Afghanistan with tails between their legs and telling you guys that their mission is achieved, ha, ha.
In fact I have just read that the Australian former Foreign Minster, Alexander Downer, claimed that it was time to leave “we cannot defeat the Taliban, but we have achieved our goals”. Derrrrr, what does that mean??????

Congratulations Serbia, you are close to becoming officially Europe's poorest country. Pity you cant sponge anymore off old Yugoslavia for your prosperity .....

And which parts of the old Yugo did Serbia sponge? Slovenia? Well I have never in my life heard of an army planning to go on strike due to budget cuts – that’s what has happened in Slovenia. Croatia – well that paradise has come very quickly to an end – I know for years Croats were complaining that Croatia was propping up Yugoslavia. Now they are too busy trying to goal white collar criminals that robbed the state either via privatizations or just outright theft under political patronage. That’s all that HTV airs on their Dnevnik program. Or perhaps Montenegro that has 87% living on or below the poverty line and I will not mention Macedonia with 85% unemployment or Kosovo with 97% unemployment.
You’re a simple person to make such a statement; don’t you know that the EU wants to reconnect the old parts of Yugo to run as in the past because they are unsustainable. Serbia has kept the best parts with Repblika Srpska. Ever ask why the EU is fiercely

This is partly due to all the bad privatizations done since the fall of Milosevic. There were many hardy businesses which survived the sanctions and bombings but which were destroyed by the new owners who bought them under all the privatizations.
Serbs need to vote out Tadic and this government and stop following western/EU dictates and prescriptions which are harmful. Stop giving in to their threats and empty promises to please them at the expense of Serbia.
They are not genuine allies - never were and never will be.

This is called "harmonizing to EU standards" and obeying to IMF´s demands, i.e cut pensions, wages and desperatly needed social reforms.
