The raid was on a flotilla trying to break Israel's blockade of Gaza, VOA reports. "The Raid" was on a Israel's blockade of Gaza. What right does Turkey think it has to break this blockade? Can Turkey please explain? And why is Turkey, an aspirant to join the EU, participating, and taking leading roles, in matters that involve the middle east? Is it maybe that Turkey is more Muslim, than European?

The Turkish government must apologise to Greece and Israel for sending a terrorist-supporting ship towards Gaza from Turkish-occupied Cyprus.

Of course, every apology to Greece and Israel is welcome. But I feel, much more countries are missing from your list. There is every single country in Central Europe. There is every single country on Balkan. There is every single country in Levant. There is every single country of former USSR and the Central Asian region (that is, Iran included).

If I would be the Turkish government, I would think how to purchase frequent flier miles to go to ALL places where to apologize. The list is depressingly long. It was the most "genocidic" regime over last 600-or-so years in the area.

And Chief Mullah Erdogan can do a favor for secular, democratic and modern Turkey: resign quickly.

Mr. Erdogan said Saturday if Israel fails to make those gestures it will remain isolated in the Middle East. He accused Israel of committing state terrorism.

It's really tiring listening to Mullah Erdogan bashing Israel but avoiding avoiding to put his money where his mouth is.

One of the main reasons Turkey hasn't broken all relations with Israel is the fact that Erdogan enjoys the media attention every time he bashes Israel and making some kind of ultimatums by removing his ambassador or threatening to cancel some military procurements.

If he dared to brake all ties with Israel he won't be able to exploit the palestinian issue any longer
and no one will care much what he has to say about Israel.

Neither the Arabs nor the Turks have any concern for the Palestinians. This is the tragedy of the Palestinians and they are used as domestic political football across the Muslim world.
