I remember the 3 years I was in Kosovo that the American medic stationed in Mitrovica had to remove his license plate and place a non KS plate if he crossed over to the North side for safety.
Also if the health center has chosen to not install legal phone lines by now, one would have to question their concern for the health and welfare of the community.

I am an Albanian and I am ashamed to hear what happened to the Serb in Gracanica. I wish the perpetrators are punished to the fullest extension of the law. The law and Kanun of the land prohibits such behaviour. However this was a clear result of the Serb policy to radicalize the region by allowing certain elements like Bogdanov to breed. Rest assured , Bogdanov and the like do not represent any threat to Albanians. It is the Kosovo Albanian thugs radicalized by the likes of Bogdanov that hurt the future prospects of Kosovo Albanian. This is why I wish their punishment is ten times the punishment of Bogdanov.

Just because you would do a thing like that, doesn't mean this man would.

It is funny you would even make a statement like that. That kind of violence has been a regular occurrence in Kosovo for a long time. So to hear of it happening again is not even a slight surprise. People who watch the news about Serbia regularly have probably never had a time where they actually thought the violence had stopped in Kosovo. It happens so often that people just wonder how many days or hours it will be until the next incident.

Serb hooligans burn an Albanian flag in Italy. A few days later a Serb gets beaten in Kosova. And we're back to fighting each other because of a few perpetrators. It's a sad vicious circle we have in the Balkans and yet nobody does anything to improve the situation. It seems we are doomed to kill each other for eternity.

Very unfortunate.
Whoever the man was Kosovar Serb or Serbia's Serb, this is completely unacceptable and despicable.
If he came from Serbia with Serbian plates, it's his right to enter Kosova with his own plates under applicable restrictions defined by KPS or/and K-Transportation ministry. If he broke any of those it’s not up to individuals to take the matters in their own hands. If he was a K-Serb living in Kosova with Serbian license plates he probably was in violation of applicable laws and had no registration for his vehicle ,in which case the competent authorities should handle the case appropriately.
The perpetrators should be caught and jailed and made an example for whoever continues to use violence. This is regardless whether the man had no idea of what he was doing in Kosova with Serbian plates or even if he was trying to provoke the situation. I am throwing these assumptions since it wasn't clarified who the man was and where he came from. Whichever is the case the violence should be strongly denounced and severely punished.

It’s unacceptable for K-Albanians to risk the stability that they worked so hard for and now that they have their independent Kosovo. As for the man not being able to use Serbia’s telecom in Kosova and as result his suffering was made worse, I take it as joke. Where was this guy living in the past months? Didn’t he know that Serbia’s telecom is obsolete now?
Last but not least, can we get some more info if possible on the severity the wounds? Is he going to be released from the hospital soon? How soon, within a day or a week? What did he answer to the perpetrators when they spoke to him? Overall this is an obscure half-baked story and I am under the impression that we are give only part of it.
Either way I hope the guy recovers soon and is able to identify his assailants.

These kind of things have been happening for so long, many decades before the war with NATO. All part of the plan to get rid of the rest of the Serbs in Kosovo, through intimidation, murder and violence. Like I mentioned before, just a little over a hundred years ago, Serbs were the majority in Kosovo, but Albanians continually used their intimidation, murder and violence to drive Serbians out of their land and make themselves the majority. Here is a link to the comment I made before with more detail.

http://www.b92.net/eng/news/comments.php?nav_id=69895

As I mentioned a few days ago

---
This is the same as when the Albanians who comment here have so much to say anytime news is mentioned about a Serbian criminal in Kosovo, when there are many more criminal activities performed in Kosovo by Albanians, and not just against Serbs, but against many non-Albanians and even Albanians who won't follow them.
---

Here is the link to that comment:
http://www.b92.net/eng/news/comments.php?nav_id=70262

The link above also has quotes from and links to several news reports from the US or London, describing their experiences with Albanian criminals, speaking about how much more violent they are compared to other criminal groups, saying things like "they commit the cruelest felonies"

Some people here act like all Albanians in Kosovo are so innocent, when the truth is far from that.

I didn't talk about Serbia. No, if you really must know, I was actually thinking about what Madame Clinton boasted just a couple of days ago about
your so called "multiethnic heritage" being "a point of pride for many of your citizens". What utter rubbish! See

Take him straight to Dr Carla del Ponte. MAybe you can get some royalty of her fiction book like the Serb "reporter" and her fairy dust evidence ;)

If Kosovo was cctv'd all the way through, there would be great security.

But the real point of the article propaganda really "but the Telekom Srbija lines in Serb enclaves south of the Ibar River were severed last month by the Kosovo Albanian authorities in Priština. "

Which is a great offence to any intellectual that knows the guy didnt even need to take his sim out and call 112. Obviously he was hard headed enough not to accept free fones too.
