Like thief in the night, old Hilary arrived not in Belgrade itself but Novi Sad at a secret location to be met by Tadic and Co to collect and cash their cheques before the US currency becomes as worthless and the Zimbabwean dollar.

What a sad indictment of a once powerful nation that led the world in many ways to be relegated to this – pleading behind closed doors over Kosovo. This is no idle statement because that’s what’s leaked out so far.

When questioned, a Chinese ambassador to one of the Asian countries stated at a dinner party yesterday this business of Hilary was amusing to say the least and if he was an Albanian he would be very worried because the US will have to sell them out in the longer term regardless of what was promised.

All this was “thankfully to the WFC which they created themselves and now allows China to take it’s rightfully place amongst nations”. Once again asked about Kosovo getting a seat in the UN – “when hell freezes over”. He also stated that Hilary has been in Bejing several times this year pleading for China to recognise Kosovo with the same answer of NO to her face.

A far, far cry from 1999.

'Can't we just agree to disagree instead of who can spend the most money on a welcome instead using that money to help those without.
(MY Goodness, 13 October 2010 17:28) '

It sounds from US sources that the welcome was 'phenomenal' in its warmth rather than its expense: no MiG escort, an honor guard at the airport - no big military turnout. The flags they probably already had in storage. The crowds of cheering citizens were likely volunteers (mostly, anyway - her popularity is down to 98% from its previously lofty heights). The statue of Bill and the Boutique Hillary were already present - all in all it shouldn't have been too much of a financial strain. But in the present worldwide financial circumstances I can understand where your thought comes from.

Why do we have to add politics to everything that goes on here. Can't we just agree to disagree instead of who can spend the most money on a welcome instead using that money to help those without.

Clinton is fooling herself.

...and her "presentation" has something laughable, actually.

there will never be any discussion about serbian territory, Mrs.Clinton.

you´ll see. and lose.

"Clinton will from Belgrade travel to Priština, which has, according to announcements, prepared a "phenomenal reception for her"."

Maybe, but we'll see how "phenomenal" her next visit is to Kosovo after she tells Thaci it's time to pay up.

"The U.S. appreciates Serbia. Not only because if its outstanding history but, what’s more important because of its enormous potential. We believe in Serbia’s potential. Americans of Serbian descent have significantly contributed to development of the U.S. We are absolutely convinced, not only that Serbia can become a member of the EU but also a leader in Europe,” Clinton said."

Madame Clinton actually playing the gracious guest in Serbia. She's so sweet that she may just come down with diabetes! But no one should be taken in by all that sugar-coated insincerity. Wonder what the Yankees are up to.

Does Serbia as a country and Serbian nation deserve and fullfill the conditions to join to EU and NATO? Of course it does. We have to be honest and accept the trueth that its economy, army and so on are the strongest among its surrounding neighbouring countries.
But if we make the question: Do the leading serbian polititians and serbian politics itseft desereve that? The reply to this question should be negative and with capital letters NO.
Serbian leaders have to accept the truth and realize that Kosovo has become independent, recognized by the strongest military and economic countries of the World. Let them realize it and give the chance to both (Serbia and Kosovo) and its nations to move forward in every positive aspect.
Sooner or later, I belive that the force of our both extremist sides will not have anymore influence on the more educated and pure coming generations and we'll all have a much better future.
May God bless our youth!
