The state wasn't routed yesterday. The rioters are in jail and the police are their jailkeepers. If the state were routed, it would be the other way around.

Then they went home after making their violent point.

The goal was to have 500 people walk 1 block in support of some pretty elementary human rights, and that's what was successfully accomplished, in the most successful way that's possible in this country at this time.

The point was for anti-Serb NGOs directed by the US & UK to show Serbian society as 'backward' & to keep us out of the EU for finding Gayness repulsive.

It depends on one's definition of success. Was there a march? Yes. Was it cheap? No. Was it supported by the wider community? No. Was there a point to the march? I don't know.
