Even a battle tank has no chance against a train. Trains are the deadliest things to collide with and the high number of fatalities in any road vehicle (tanks included!) is a guarantee if they collide with trains.

This is what every driver has to remember: you can't beat a train and in every case any train has the right of the way.

How many more tragedies need to happen until people learn to FEAR and OBEY every level crossing with railroad tracks?

R.I.P. to all victims of this 100% avoidable tragedy.

And by the way: the trains in Ukraine or Russia resemble much more American trains than European ones: long with huge cars (either passenger of freight) - and even at lower speeds IMPOSSIBLE to stop within several miles. Think about freight trains being somewhat like 1-mile-long 100+ car beast, pulled by multiple locomotive units, at least two (see the picture!). That beast is deadly if your car/bus/SUV/battle tank collides with. The passenger trains are typically 15 stainless steel American-style "streamliners", each car being 54 tons IF EMPTY. And even at 60 km/h it's a deadly thing.
