If Kosovo can be taken away from Serbia by the "International Community" because the majority wanted independence, then why can not Mitrovica remain part of Serbia if the majority there want it to be so? Or according to the IC, there one rule for Albanians, and another for Serbs?

-The state of Serbia has to propose that, after it has changed its constitution, in exchange for recognition of what would remain as Kosova. If Serbia comes up with something like that then what you want might actually happen. However it is illogical to claim that all of Kosova is Serbia and yet to want to take away Mitrovica; that is nonsensical. As a result things will continue to be messed up for a while in N. Mitro; and I mean for decades.

Anton I agree with you the North should go to Serbia since this region will only cause problems for Kosovo. they can change the flag that no one wants and thats it its over.

Serbs in south will have to get used to living under Albanian rule and let this be done.

I think outcome is much better than having autonomy in north, that region only exists today due to Serb subsidies once that becomes part of serbia it will be a forgotten place.

But problem seems to be Trepca I am not sure how much gold is under there but its all about that not people, so I propose anything that is produced under trepca 50%/ 50% split and finish this back and forth.

It works for South Sudan with oil there are complaints but you make a transparent like selling the rights to some mining firm highest bidder.
