"Serbia will make effort for candidacy"

It's beyond me how anyone could think that Europe will let Serbia into it's union, especially after they what Serbia showed the world it's true colours today.

On a larger scale I wish, the RGW/COMECON would not die the way it did - rather that it would be "enlarged" by Albania and Yugoslavia (probably Greece, Cyprus, too) and ultimately become an EQUAL partner to E.U. or even PART of E.U.

With one thing I would be strict: no Turkey, neither in COMECON nor in E.U. - until:

1) They do not beg everyone for forgiveness, in particular in Erevan, Mosul (for Kurds), Athens, Belgrade, Budapest, Tirana, Tbilisi, Kiev (in that order).

2) The Lala Mustafa mosque

will be a gothic cathedral again.

These pictures, in particular minaret and Ottoman flag in front of a marvel of French medieval gothic are the most perverse things I can imagine:

Besides, Lala Mustafa was a war criminal.

3) Remove all four minarets from Hagia Sophia and cede it in some form to Athos Republic, at least Athos should have special rights on it's premises.

At the moment they comply with all three demands - Turkey is welcome. That will happen probably without Chief Mullah Erdogan and without pictures of Main Turko-nationalist Kemal Pasha hanging even in bathrooms.

And of course the Turkish schoolbooks should not say, Ottoman rule brought few hundred years of prosperity to all of us because that view is not shared by anyone.
