Neither Serbia nor the albanians seems to be in control over Kosovo. The new masters in Kosovo are the Germans and the brits. Not even masters in their own house!

Eulex, Kfor, Kps agree on arrests.

Serbia was informed... not asked.

Serb Media simply cannot help but to try to create and maintain the illusion of the serbian govt. relevancy.

"Tell your leaders to come down and arrest my MP for "treason" or arrest PTK for "stealing" (what a joke) telecom serbia's "property" (yea right!)."
KOSO

Your criminal leaders are already in prison! Prison camp Kosova! No white schengen means albanians are isolated and outsiders looking in.
You don't actually think territory that is historically Serbia can ever belong to someone else in the long run? Who do you think is more patient, the US or the Serbs?

Well thank you for calling them "Serbia leaders", I choose to call them something less. Now you calling the Kosovo "MP"'s leaders is another joke entirely.

Your leaders are no where to be seen in the Balkans, nevermind Pristina. Your leaders are in the White House, and have probably never even been to Kosovo.

thanks

"I've noticed in your comments that you mentioned Jason's name so my question is what does he have to do with this article? Or do you actually know him where he serves as some American peacekeeper in Kosovo?"

No not really, I do not know him/her. Jason has claimed in the past he works for EULEX in the north of Kosovo. Therefore, if his/her claims are true, it is likely that Jason participated in this mission. Another likely thing is, for example, that Jason was involved in not letting Nikolic and Ilic participate to the enthronment of the patriarch a few days ago. B92 reported that they were turned back by EULEX operating in the north (?). Jason claims he is EULEX operating in the north (?). Bottom line is, Jason can be associated with anything EULEX does in the north, good or bad for Serbs or Albanians. In this case what EULEX did was good for everybody, that's why I am thanking him.

Why do they need to ask Belgrade if Kosovo is independent?

I guess action speak louder then words!
(The Truth, 7 October 2010 17:09)

Why is Belgrade not arresting criminals in "its province" and instead having to get approval from Pristina and EULEX??

Serbia calling itself a "sovereign state" is a joke, when you claim another sovereign state's territory that you yourself have no control.

Tell your leaders to come down and arrest my MP for "treason" or arrest PTK for "stealing" (what a joke) telecom serbia's "property" (yea right!).

Remarkably, these arrests were approved of by Serbs, Albanians, and internationals I have spoken to. See, we can agree on some things after all.
(Jason, 7 October 2010 15:06)

Why there is a need for approval from Serbs to arrest Serbian criminals???
(Kosova-USA, 7 October 2010, 16:10)

Cripes, you never miss a chance to try and cause trouble where there is none. Lame.

It means that something called public opinion was positive all the way around regarding these arrests. I know that's a tough pill for you to swallow, but most Serbs up north don't like drug dealers amongst them.

Brunswich, I have not noticed that Jason's comment are not nice or in any way rude. He does not tow the Albanian line though, because he seems to know more of what is actually going on in Kosovo than most here - including the Albanian diaspora.

Does the minister read Danas?
(dekk, 7 October 2010 15:33)

..more importantly, was minister consulted/informed about this , or is he just a clown or worst still given his expressed concerns, is he part of the organised criminal gangs in the north.... which given his lack of information about the recent events it raises suspicions about why wasn't he informed?

So what is the big deal, criminals should be arrested and removed from society. Does not matter what ethnicity they are. It's just too bad that the police do not go after Albanian criminals much. Hopefully that will change.

Thank you Jason for arresting those criminals together with your colleagues. You are making Kosovo a better place.
